Nanjing, 31 Dec (Xinhua) -- On the 31st, "This is the Township Pass - Wuxi Museum Donated Modern Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" and "Qingru - Yang Lingma's World of Calligraphy and Painting" were launched at the Wuxi Museum.
According to reports, the Wuxi Museum has a complete collection system, especially featured in calligraphy and painting and local historical relics. On the occasion of the New Year's Eve, two major calligraphy and painting exhibitions were launched to entertain the audience, which is also the first appearance of the calligraphy and painting exhibition hall of the Wuxi Museum after the upgrading and transformation.
"This is the Township Pass - Wuxi Museum Donated Modern Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" was exhibited in the exhibition hall on the third floor of the Central District of Wuxi Museum. Since the 1980s, a number of calligraphers, painters and collectors, such as Qian Songyao, Huang Yanghui, Tao Shoubo, Xu Feng, Yang Weiyun family, and Yang Renshan family, have successively donated their works to the Wuxi Museum. The Wuxi Museum uses this exhibition hall as a donated calligraphy and painting exhibition hall, and regularly takes turns to exhibit the donated modern and contemporary calligraphy and painting works.
The exhibition is subdivided into six parts, including yunruiyuan collection and painting museum, Renshan relics, Tao Shoubo calligraphy and painting museum, Qian Songyao collection studio, Huang Yanghui calligraphy and painting museum, Xu Feng art museum, etc., and the cultural relics on display include Wu Guandai's "Reconstruction of Guanhua Pavilion Map Axis", Zhang Daqian's "Three Sages Map", Qing Dynasty Li Ruiqing's "Songzhu Flower Picture Scroll" and a number of precious calligraphy and painting works.
Wuxi Museum collects 108 works of Yang Lingmao, "Qingru - The World of Yang Lingma's Calligraphy and Painting" exhibits more than 20 fine works, as well as the collection of works related to her, the audience has the opportunity to have a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of Yang Lingmu and the Yang family in Wuxi, and then experience the profound humanistic connotation behind the modern Industrial and Commercial Culture of Wuxi. "Qingru - The World of Yang Lingmao's Calligraphy and Painting" will be on display until June 5, 2022.
