At that time, Zhang Xueliang built a chieftain's villa in Beiling (the former site of the office building of the beiling park management center). Zhang Xueliang usually worked in the Fengtian City Governor's Office, and after Zhao Yidi arrived in Shenyang, he was settled by Zhang Xueliang in the villa. During the winter time of living in Beiling Villa, Miss Zhao Si often strolled with Zhang Xueliang in the ice and snow, happily talking about the happy moments spent by the two people in the dance hall and on the skating rink.

The reporter saw a report on Shenyang makeup skating from a second edition published in Shenyang on March 5, 1931: On March 1, 1931, the second makeup skating competition in Shenyang was held at the Xiaoheyan Ice Skating Rink of the Board of Directors of the Hanqing Education Fund, with more than 130 athletes participating. Among all the participating men and women, the most wonderful performers are Xu Hongying, Wu Zhongmei, Wang Shuya, Liu Shouyi, Hao Ke, Zhao Yanhong and others, who are dressed as butterflies, tigers, nurses, cotton people, as well as ancient characters Ji Gong and Zhuge Liang... All the makeup is exquisite.
The playing field is surrounded by crowds of spectators and many heavyweight guests. What attracts everyone's most attention is that Zhang Xueliang's eldest son Zhang Luxun and second son Zhang Luxun also appeared on the stage to participate in the makeup skating competition, and Zhang Xueliang's wife Yu Fengzhi also sat in the stands to watch the competition. In 1915, Yu Fengzhi, who was 3 years older than Zhang Xueliang, married Zhang Xueliang, and after marrying, Yu Fengzhi has always taken good care of her husband and in-laws. Because of the influence of the young Zhang Xueliang's hobbies, Yu Fengzhi also liked ice frolicking activities and encouraged his children to go to the skating rink. In her eyes, participating in ice activities is also an exercise for children.
Some experts said that although Zhang Xueliang did not attend the scene, judging from the use of the venue of the Games, Yu Fengzhi and his two sons, it is enough to prove Zhang Xueliang's active support for the makeup skating activities in Shenyang.
