A few days ago, nearly one million words of academic research macro-"History of Folk Literature and Art in Hebei" was published by Hebei People's Publishing House. Written by Mr. Zheng Yimin, a famous scholar in our province and engaged in the excavation and research of folk art for decades, the project took more than two years to complete, and is a masterpiece that fills the gap in China's folk art research.
Unveiling of a new book
Browse the major book cities, there are many books on the academic history of various fields, but books on the history of folk art have always been vacant. If we want to compile the history of Chinese folk literature and art, we must use the history of folk literature and art in various provinces and cities as the basis and material, but so far, no province or city has written a history of folk literature and art. Because folk art involves many disciplines, the system is complex, and the historical records are scarce and scarce, many scholars are discouraged. In the cause of building a strong socialist cultural country, Mr. Zheng Yimin, who has devoted himself to the exploration and research of folk literature and art for many years, after publishing dozens of academic works, is determined to let Hebei create a precedent for compiling and publishing the history of provincial folk art.
Zheng Yimin, honorary chairman of the Hebei Folk Writers Association, delivered a speech
Mr. Zheng Yimin served as the sixth and seventh vice chairman of the Chinese Nationalities Association, the third, fourth and fifth chairman of the Hebei Provincial People's Association, and over the past few decades, he has not only traveled to various cities and counties in Hebei, but also visited many folk traditional culture models across the country, surveyed, excavated, protected and rescued a large number of folk culture, art and folklore, and accumulated a large number of fieldwork materials. Luanhe culture, Wuqiang New Year painting, Guangfu ancient city, Weixian paper-cutting, Gengcun story, Shixian Nuwa culture, Yanshan Qiantong culture, Baixiang Han peony culture, Neiqiu Bian Que culture, Wu'an Culture... These well-known Hebei cultural brands at home and abroad all embody the painstaking efforts of Mr. Zheng Yimin. It can be said that he is a witness, participant and witness of the folk art cause in Hebei Province in the past 50 years, and has been praised by the leaders of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles as "a banner of the whole country". In the long-term literary creation, folk culture and art research, his knowledge accumulation, structure, education, experience, has become a recognized banner leader in the industry. Therefore, in the repeated discussions of many experts and scholars, he became the best candidate to complete the project of "History of Folk Literature in Hebei".
Zhao Wenhe, former vice chairman of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, delivered a speech
How to present the rich and complex history of folk art in Hebei? "Taking history as the line, the results of fieldwork and historical records are equally important, highlighting the analysis and interpretation of typical events of Hebei's unique folk art" is the tone set by Zheng Yimin for the compilation of "History of Folk Literature in Hebei". In order to highlight the folk nature of folk art, in the re-compilation, he put the results of fieldwork in a very important position, so that the various Hebei folk culture and art discussed in the book were introduced both wonderfully and realistically. What is particularly valuable is that in the course of reviewing history, the author bases himself on the natural space and cultural space of Hebei, takes the development and evolution of Hebei's social history and culture as the background, stands at the height of the country everywhere, examines and interprets the status and value of various folk art events in Hebei in the long river of Chinese civilization in the context of the world, and analyzes the cultural layers, cultural circles, and cultural soil formed by the collision and integration of politics, economy, society, military, science and technology in the long river of Hebei's history. From a grand and lofty perspective, the code and truth of the development and evolution of various folk art events are analyzed, so that readers not only know what they are but why they are so. Thus, the book "History of Folk Literature in Hebei" has achieved a perfect combination and interplay of the vertical line of time and the horizontal line of various folk art categories in the discussion.
Xu Ying, director of the Counselor's Office of the Hebei Provincial Government, delivered a speech

Lu Hao, a first-class inspector of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Literature and Art, said in his speech: This academic monograph of nearly one million words by the Emperor, which was completed by Mr. Zheng Yimin, who is known as a banner in the field of Chinese folk literature in our province, took three years to complete, and is a magnificent masterpiece that fills the gap in the study of folk literature in China. The vast sea of smoke and the variety of folk art events in Hebei have been sorted out and explored and scientifically analyzed before, making Hebei the first province in the country to compile and publish the history of folk literature.
Qi Haifeng, vice chairman of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature, delivered a speech
Qiu Yunhua, secretary of the party group of the China Folk Writers Association, believes that the publication of "History of Folk Literature in Hebei" has filled the gap in the comprehensive research of the history of folk literature and art in China and is a generous gift for the study of Chinese folk literature and art in the new era. Hebei took the lead in publishing this achievement, not only because Hebei has a cultural master like Mr. Zheng Yimin, but also because the people of Hebei love and self-confidence in Hebei folk art, which is a vivid portrayal of the Chinese nation's firm cultural self-confidence. As the saying goes, from the height of the tall buildings to the ground, the grand study of chinese folk literature history will be based on the study of folk literature history in various places, with this good example in Hebei, I believe that there will be more and more research results in folk literature history in various places.
Ren Yuan, vice chairman of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature, presided over the press conference
Yang Rongguo, chairman of the Hebei Folk Writers Association, delivered a speech
Liang Yong, librarian and cultural scholar of Hebei Provincial Research Museum of Literature and History
Liang Yong, a librarian and cultural scholar at the Hebei Provincial Research Museum of Culture and History, said in his speech: First, he was moved. Teacher Zheng Yimin is more than 70 years old, and in the past three years, he has insisted on writing 810,000 words by hand word by hand, which is difficult and hard work, which is touching. Yesterday I read the afterword written by the teacher, watched the writing process he recounted, and couldn't help but burst into tears, really heartache, heartbeat, heartache for his hard work, but also moved by his strong perseverance and wisdom, only he relied on rich education, years of long-term fieldwork accumulation and diligent pen cultivation, persistent and diligent. It is possible to achieve such a huge work. Therefore, the title of my speech, "Fengming Gaogang, Jin Sheng Yuzhen", I think it is not too high to give a high evaluation. As the famous cultural master Mr. Feng Jicai praised, "You are the first hero of Yanzhao culture".
The second is gratitude: I have known Teacher Zheng Yimin for more than 30 years. In 1990, during the publication of "Fenglongshan, a Famous Mountain of History and Culture" that I organized and compiled, I received guidance and help from teacher Zheng Yimin. Teacher Zheng personally contacted the publishing house and personally revised the manuscript. Yesterday, I remembered that The manuscripts handwritten by Teacher Zheng are particularly precious in today's era of computer writing. So, I also rummaged through the boxes and cabinets to find manuscripts of several books from my eighties and nineties. Thanks to Teacher Zheng's teachings over the years, he has promoted and rewarded future generations on various occasions. As a descendant of Teacher Zheng, I took this opportunity to bow to mr. Zheng and thank you. Thank you sir for his guidance, help and encouragement in my academic writings. In recent years, I have compiled monographs such as "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Pulling Up the Belt and Road", "Chinese Craftsmen Hebei Volume", "Damei Xiong'an" and other monographs, which Teacher Zheng has given guidance and served as academic advisors. Give me academic confidence and confidence. Thank you Teacher Zheng!
The third is the three insights that the publication of Teacher Zheng's books and books has given me:
One of the insights is the cultural responsibility of being a scholar. Teacher Zheng Yimin insists on learning to serve the country and writes for major national strategies. Dare to take responsibility and dare to act at critical moments. This "History of Folk Literature and Art in Hebei" was written at the age of 73, at the age of 73, when he was in danger, and wrote it, with an atmosphere of heroism, and unprecedented spirit and knowledge. Moreover, this book, in line with the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the WenDai Conference, is a huge work that stands up for the people.
The second feeling is to feel that Teacher Zheng is rigorous in his studies, and Teacher Zheng has always persevered in learning, learning from the ancients and learning from the people. I often follow the teacher on field trips, and his diligence, persistence, and fortitude are worth learning and emulating. Traditional village archives are determined, and Teacher Zheng is the first advocate and leader in the country. Hurriedly walk through the famous historical and cultural villages and towns in Hebei, walk through the corners and corners of traditional villages, visit the villages and elders, and get the love and respect of people everywhere.
The third feeling is to inherit and disseminate the excellent culture of the Chinese nation and strengthen cultural self-confidence. Tell the story of China well, tell the story of Hebei well. Compiling the "History of Folk Art in Hebei", as the university professors in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei said, if you write a 500,000-word history of Chinese folk art, it is relatively easy, because historical documents and literati notes are full of sweat and cattle, and the historical materials are rich. However, to write an 800,000-word "History of Folk Literature in Hebei", no one can write without solid academic accumulation and long-term fieldwork. Only Teacher Zheng can do it. Moreover, this book is complete in style and rich in content, and involves a wide range of folk art categories. Not only is the literature rich, but also relies heavily on fieldwork data. It reflects the height of China and the characteristics of Hebei.
Xie Fei, former deputy director of the Hebei Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, delivered a speech
Fu Cong, senior editor of Hebei People's Publishing House, delivered a speech
Fu Cong, senior editor of Hebei People's Publishing House, said in his speech: "The History of Folk Literature and Art in Hebei" is the most valuable and weighty cultural book I have edited in my editing career for more than ten years. At that time, when I first heard Chairman Zheng mention this topic, I was very excited. The professional sensitivity of the editor immediately made me realize that this was a significant book. Why? I captured four aspects of information: First, this is a book about history. As we all know, history is the inheritance, accumulation and expansion of culture, and the trajectory of human civilization. Books that comb through history are certainly valuable. Second, this is a book that combs through the history of folk literature and art in Hebei. That would be even more valuable. Because folk art is the matrix or root of all culture and art, although it is also called "literature and art", but it has never been just a subject in the field of culture and art, folk art is rooted in folk birth, involving all aspects of the social life of the people, is the real projection of the social life of the people. Therefore, the historical significance of combing folk art is particularly important. Third, no one has ever done this work, and there is no book in the whole country that introduces the history of folk art. Hebei will do this pioneering work. This will be a great contribution to the study of the history of Chinese folk art. It is also a great contribution to the national cultural work. Fourth, General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen cultural self-confidence and draw nutrition from traditional Chinese culture. The writing of the history of folk literature in Hebei reflects the full confidence of the people of Hebei in Hebei culture. The people's wisdom displayed in the history of Folk Literature in Hebei is also the root of the self-confidence of the Chinese nation's culture.
