Born in Jiangsu, where the climate is mild, Sun Longzhen often braids her long black hair into two braids and rests on her shoulders, looking quiet and taciturn.
But this seemingly introverted girl is a down-to-earth "iron girl", only 19 years old, she actively responded to the party's call to "support the frontier, defend the frontier, and build the frontier", fearlessly facing the wind and sand in the northwest, all the way to Xinjiang, was incorporated into the military engineering regiment.
She does not care about the heavy work, even if it is dry boiling furnace, smashing ore, in the good year, she often sweats and is gray, she has no complaints, everything competes, and actively completes the tasks assigned by the organization.
By 1962, she also took the initiative to participate in the "three generations" task force of substitute farming, pastoral and escrow, responsible for guarding and herding cattle and sheep.
Jiangnan did not have the wilderness of the frontier and the whistling wind, nor did it have the sweaty heat and cold winter under the rain, but Sun Longzhen quickly adapted to the harsh environment. 02 Regardless of pregnancy, have the courage to rescue compatriots
"Zhang Chengshan has been arrested, go and save people!" This cry suddenly exploded in Sun Longzhen's ears, breaking the routine of life.
Without hesitation, she grabbed the shovel and was about to rush out with her comrades. At that time, the border was unstable, and there was often friction between China and the Soviet Union, and Zhang Chengshan entered the so-called disputed area without noticing when grazing cattle, and was forcibly taken away by the Soviet army.
Sun Longzhen was six months pregnant, and she had already shown her pregnancy, and she walked out with her stomach up. The sister-in-law Yu Zhilan considered that she was pregnant and stopped her and wanted to go for her. Sun Longzhen, on the other hand, looked resolute, remembered his duties, disregarded his own safety, and firmly refused with "I am a militiaman."
At this time, the equipment gap between China and the Soviet Union was obvious, and the Soviet troops had already set up ambushes and prepared weapons, and on the way to the scene of the incident, Sun Longzhen and others shot indiscriminately at the masses. The bullet swept the branches of the bushes straight and penetrated Sun Longzhen's stomach, and the blood flowed out and poured on the grass under the night.
Amid the gunshots and the cries of his teammates, the newly formed fetus has not yet opened its eyes to glimpse the human world, and it has joined its mother and dedicated its life to the territory.
In 1969, at the age of 29, Sun Longzhen left herself forever in this land full of her love and struggle.
Sun Longzhen's sacrifice further ignited the anger and bloodiness of the soldiers, who were not afraid of sacrifice, resolutely defended the safety of people's lives and property, fought against the Soviet army to the end, and never compromised in this land stained with the blood of compatriots.
03 Deeds circulated, and 440,000 mu of disputed areas finally returned
Since Sun Longzhen's sacrifice, the Sino-Soviet border issue has still not been resolved, but her deeds have accompanied later Shubian warriors. Warriors defended the country in danger while conquering harsh geological land for farming.
A warrior returned home to visit his family and told these stories to his mother, who burst into tears and gave her son the small poplar saplings she had bred to take back to the outpost.
The outpost is located on the border between China and Kazakhstan, the land is barren and dry, and it is difficult for plants to grow. The warriors could only squeeze out their own water to water the saplings and cultivate them carefully, and finally a small poplar tree survived, rooted in this barren land, and is still accompanied by Sun Longzhen's tomb.

Sun Longzhen's husband, who lost his wife, and his young daughter, who lost his mother, finally witnessed this day. Since Sun Longzhen's sacrifice, they endured the pain and stayed in her place of eternal resting place. The husband continued to stick to the mountainous areas, and his two daughters also settled in Xinjiang.
After generations of hard work, the outpost is no longer as simple and dilapidated as it once was, and the originally desolate land has finally grown with flowers dotted with branches. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the five-star red flag of the small poplar post will always flutter in the wind.
04 The spirit of Longzhen will live on forever
So far, Sun Longzhen has sacrificed for more than fifty years, but her spirit has been passed on from generation to generation. The young and fresh girls are not afraid of difficulties and obstacles, and actively fight on the edge, practicing in the hot sun, reclaiming wasteland and planting vegetables. They stand on the border defense line with a straight posture, and they are the descendants of the "Sun Longzhen Militia Class" and nourished by Sun Longzhen's spirit.
In addition, Sun Longzhen's heroic deeds of daring to take responsibility and not fearing sacrifice have also been preserved in the exhibition hall, adding a strong and colorful stroke to history. Longzhen Road and Longzhen Park, named after her, will also be remembered forever. With her small body, she straightened the backbone of the militia and supported the dignity of the soldiers on the side.
The young people were also moved by the spirit of Long Zhen, and under his encouragement, they could grow into new young people who were more responsible and more dedicated, and could pin their hopes on them like the sun at eight or nine o'clock in the morning.
