On the morning of December 30, the Longhua District Digital Economy (Cross-border E-commerce) Industrial Park was officially opened for operation. Wang Wei, secretary of the Longhua District CPC Committee, Kou Yanan, deputy commissioner of the Shenzhen Office of the Ministry of Commerce, attended the event and delivered a speech, Chi Weiguo, deputy director of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Lin Zhongqing, deputy director of the Shenzhen Customs Postal Supervision Department, and Lan Tao and Wang Dianjia, leaders of Longhua District, attended the opening ceremony.

Longhua District Digital Economy (Cross-border E-commerce) Industrial Park is located in Fucheng Street Xincheng Community, the first phase covers an area of 19,000 square meters, with a construction area of nearly 30,000 square meters, will focus on building a trade brand marketing center, cross-border e-commerce live broadcast center, digital trade comprehensive service center, cross-border e-commerce talent training center, cross-border e-commerce listed enterprise cultivation center and other five major functional centers.

This is the first cross-border e-commerce industrial park in Longhua District. According to reports, the industrial park will cultivate 100-150 cross-border e-commerce enterprises within five years, cultivate more than 5 enterprises to enter the listing channel, and achieve a cumulative operating income of more than 20 billion yuan, creating a national-level cross-border e-commerce industry demonstration park. The operation of the park will form a replicable, scalable and learnable experience, promote the leapfrog development of Longhua's cross-border e-commerce industry from "one" to "many", form a development pattern of "one district and multiple parks", promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and promote the construction of the digital economy pilot zone.

Wang Wei said in his speech that since last year, Longhua District has comprehensively built a "digital Longhua, urban core", and in the first three quarters of this year, the core industrial enterprises of the digital economy in the region achieved a total output of 302.663 billion yuan, an increase of 37.9% year-on-year, 12.5 percentage points higher than traditional industries, becoming the main engine of high-quality development. In particular, at present, there are 50,000 e-commerce enterprises registered in Longhua, forming key parks such as Zhantao and Silicon Valley compounds, and emerging high-quality enterprises such as Foxconn, GreenLink, and Baishide, and the cross-border e-commerce industry has shown a good trend of large-scale and agglomeration development, which has gathered great potential energy for promoting the high-quality development of the digital economy.

Wang Wei said that Longhua will continue to improve the park's service support and development level, absorb talents from all over the world with a good environment, encourage and support enterprises in the zone to go to sea in groups, make every effort to build a digital economy pilot zone, and wholeheartedly welcome the majority of cross-border e-commerce elites to invest in Longhua and achieve a win-win future.

Kou Yanan pointed out in his speech that Shenzhen, as the country's first national e-commerce demonstration city, is the city with the largest number of domestic cross-border e-commerce export enterprises, and in the first 11 months of this year, Shenzhen's cross-border e-commerce import and export continued to maintain the first echelon in the country. However, there are also a series of constraints such as the relatively backward development of cross-border e-commerce platforms, the rising costs caused by the new crown epidemic, and poor logistics. In recent years, the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce, and Shenzhen Municipality have also successively introduced relevant policies to fund and support e-commerce enterprises, and it is believed that with the joint efforts of the government, society and enterprises, China's cross-border e-commerce will surely usher in rapid development.

At the opening ceremony, the Longhua District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the operator of the park, and the two sides will cooperate to dig deep into the application scenarios of digital yuan, build a cross-border e-commerce full-chain ecosystem, and create the first park in Shenzhen to realize the closed loop of digital yuan consumption.
