Among them, BYD power battery shipments increased the most, reaching 192%. From the perspective of market share, BYD ranked fourth with a market share of 9.0%, and the top three were CATL, LG Energy Solutions and Panasonic, with market shares of 31.8%, 20.5% and 12.5% respectively.
In the first 11 months of this year, BYD's cumulative sales of new energy vehicles approached 510,000 units, an increase of 216.97% year-on-year. In addition to its own needs, BYD's power battery supply to the outside world is also accelerating.
Ford Mustang Mach-E recently officially opened delivery, the car used by the official BYD-supplied ternary lithium battery. In addition, BYD has also cooperated with Toyota to supply batteries to it. It is worth mentioning that there were previous media reports that BYD will supply "blade batteries" to Tesla in the second quarter of next year, and Tesla models equipped with "blade batteries" have entered the C-sample test stage. From the perspective of the growth rate of shipments, BYD's market share exceeds Panasonic's, and it is only a matter of time before it enters the top three.
