However, most of these bandits, when the country was in trouble, stepped forward and went into battle to kill the enemy. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, many bandits pointed their guns at the Japanese and wanted to drive the Japanese out of China. The bandits themselves were not well disciplined and had low combat ability, and under the leadership of the bandit leader, they began to join the regular army. Most of the bandits joined the War of Resistance, of course, a small number of bandits betrayed the country and sought glory, serving as running dogs for the Japanese. However, these traitors did not end up well in the end! After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the bandits in the northeast were liquidated. It wasn't until 1949 that the Northeast bandits were completely eliminated, ending decades of bullying in the Northeast.
