On the morning of December 29, the launching ceremony of SAIC's new commercial vehicle (Mid-VAN) project was held in The Qiaolin Plant of Nanjing Iveco Automobile Co., Ltd. SAIC Motor Commercial Vehicle New Model (China VAN) project is an independent research and development project of Nanjing Iveco Automobile Co., Ltd. Introduction of the VAN model project in IVECO
The project is an independent research and development project of Nanjing Iveco Automobile Co., Ltd., which is mainly positioned in the domestic high-end medium-sized multi-functional wide-body light passenger market, and the new model is compared with the same level of products, with the advantages of novel shape, optimal interior space, high bearing capacity, and good vehicle economy. The project plans to expand the original welding workshop, assembly workshop and stamping auxiliary room in the existing plant area, expand the plant with a total area of about 30,000 square meters, build some new production lines and adapt to the original production lines. After the project is fully completed and fully produced, it is expected to add an annual output value of about 5 billion yuan and create about 1,500 new jobs.
