8,000 Qinghai cavalry resisted the Japanese, and the division commander who had made great contributions was squeezed out and dismissed, and he died in a car accident 7 years later

In 1938, Ma Biao, commander of the Qinghai Cavalry Division, sent two brigades to attack the Japanese. He captured the two walled cities occupied by the Japanese Kou and captured the traitor Ma Yuanlin and shot him to death.

In August 1937, Ma Bufang received an order for him to send troops to resist the war. He knew very well that if he refused, then Han Fuqu would be a lesson for the future. After some consideration, he decided to send a miscellaneous unit to the Central Plains to resist the war and retain the strength of his main force.

In this way, Ma Bufang cobbled together to form a cavalry division of about 8,000 people. The force came from all over the place, and there were even three vigilante groups.

The commander of the cavalry division was Ma Biao, and the deputy division commander was Gong Xun. The division has three brigades, Ma Yuanxiang, commander of the First Brigade, Ma Lu, commander of the Second Brigade, and Ma Bingzhong, commander of the Third Brigade, and is known to the outside world as the First Provisional Cavalry Division.

On September 1, under the welcome of the masses from all walks of life, Ma Biao and 8,000 Qinghai disciples led by him left Xining and began their anti-Japanese road of thousands of miles.

The 1st Cavalry Division came under the direct command of the Eighth Theater of Operations. In February 1938, Ma Biao led his troops into Lintong. In order to ensure safety, he sent cavalry detachments several times to sneak attacks on the Japanese troops near the garrison.

At that time, in order to divide and disintegrate the anti-Japanese forces, the Japanese army assigned Japanese ronin and local traitors to form the White Lotus Sect. These guys specialized in destroying vehicles along the highway and robbing anti-Japanese supplies, and Ma Biao's cavalry division was ordered to destroy the White Lotus Sect.

Ma Biao, who received the order, quickly dispatched the main cavalry force to eliminate all the more than a thousand bandits of the White Lotus Sect, and fulfilled the oath he had made to his father and fellow villagers when he left Qinghai: I would like to wait for ma to step on the Wokou, give me a dead martyr's revenge, and win glory for the future generations.

In July 1938, Ma Biao's troops were transferred to Fugou and other places to strengthen the defense of the Yellow River. During this period, ma Yuanlin surrendered to the enemy. Under the leadership of this man, a squadron of Japanese troops plus more than a thousand puppet troops captured a number of villages where the cavalry division was stationed.

In order to eliminate the traitors, Ma Biao sent two brigades to carry out retaliatory attacks on the Japanese puppet army. The local Japanese puppet army was wiped out, Ma Yuanlin was also killed by the cavalry division, and this shameful traitor also got his due fate.

In the spring of 1939, the Ma Lu Department of the Second Brigade of the Cavalry Division was transferred to Qianxian County, Shaanxi. In order to increase its combat effectiveness, Ma Buqing added two brigades to the cavalry division to form the Second Cavalry Division, with Ma Lu as the division commander and stationed at Tongchuan.

In February of the same year, Ma Biao was transferred to Xiangcheng to deal with the Japanese troops stationed in Huaiyang. He made full use of the advantages of the flexibility of the cavalry and sent small troops to harass the Japanese army, so that the Japanese army only dared to shrink in the city and did not dare to attack easily.

In order to express his heartfelt feelings to his master, the puppet army Cao Shiyibu smuggled across the Yellow River pan area to try to cut the back road of the cavalry division, and Ma Biao ordered the cavalry division to use various weapons to destroy Cao Shiyi's tools for crossing the river in the river, killing hundreds of puppet soldiers at the bottom of the river.

In September of the same year, Ma Bingzhong, commander of the Second Brigade of the Cavalry Division, led his troops to surround Huaiyang City and launched an attack, the Japanese army urgently transferred reinforcements from Kaifeng, and then counter-encircled Ma Bingzhong, and Ma Biao sent a brigade of Ma Yuanxiang to support Ma Bingzhong.

Unfortunately, when Ma Yuanxiang passed, Ma Bingzhong had already been martyred, and Ma Yuanxiang was also seriously injured. When they heard the nightmare, the officers and men of the cavalry division vowed to avenge the death of their brothers.

However, Ma Biao knew that the Japanese were well-equipped and would not get good fruit to eat, so he ordered the troops to adopt the method of encircling Wei and saving Zhao to make the Japanese army difficult to care, and the second brigade of the cavalry division seized the opportunity, and the rest of the army broke through smoothly.

Although the 2nd Cavalry Brigade suffered heavy losses in this battle, it also wiped out more than 1,500 Japanese puppet troops. The supreme commander of the Japanese army, Suzuki, was also killed by our army, and the two sides fought for half a pound and eight or two.

In May 1940, the Provisional 1st Cavalry Division was appointed as the 8th Cavalry Division, and in 1941 Ma Biao was promoted to deputy commander of the 2nd Cavalry Army for his outstanding military achievements.

At this time, someone approached Ma Bufang and said: Ma Biao has the intention of breaking away from Qinghai and moving closer to Chongqing. This allowed Ma Chuanfang to start guarding against Ma Biao, and after some maneuvering he dismissed Ma Biao.

Ma Biao could only leave the unit, and never stepped into the army for half a step since. In 1948, Ma Biao was in a car accident when he went out, and he died in the hospital.
