Beijing News Shell Finance: The state proposes to "strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights and create a good environment for the competitive development of enterprises of all kinds of ownership", Gree Electric Appliances also has a lot of experience in intellectual property protection, how to strengthen intellectual property protection in 2022?

Dong Mingzhu: Gree has a "zero tolerance" attitude towards infringement of intellectual property rights. Patent protection work has always been a long-term and stable work of Gree Electric Appliances. In 2022, Gree insists on adopting the intellectual property legal system and promoting the whole society to attach importance to innovation. Up to now, Gree has carried out more than 30 patent litigation lawsuits, with a subject amount of more than 300 million yuan and a compensation of nearly 60 million yuan.

Patented technology must be combined with the needs of people and society in order to stimulate the greatest value.
