Moving into the January transfer window, there are widespread reports that Barcelona are looking to step up their attack. After Sergio Aguero retired, the Catalans' offensive ability has been weak and linked to numerous top strikers. And, according to SPORT, the forward line isn't the only place Harvey wants reinforcements. The Barcelona boss has allegedly asked his board to equip him with a new right-back and a new left-back.
Harvey is reportedly not a big fan of Serginot Destin, who wants to bring in the young Mazlauy to replace the U.S. international. Mazraoui's current contract with the Dutch team expires next summer, so Barcelona can transfer him for free.
Barcelona are still keeping an eye on Jose Gaya of Valencia and see him as the main option for left-back.
Ferran Torres is nearing the completion of his move to Barcelona
Spanish striker Ferran Torres arrived in Barcelona earlier today to undergo a medical examination with the Catalan ahead of the highly anticipated transfer. Torres was found walking in a Barcelona hospital this morning. On his way out, he was asked by reporters what he thought of the move, to which Torres replied:
