In February 1958, Zhou Enlai led more than 100 Chinese and foreign experts to go up the yangtze river by boat from Wuhan to inspect the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. In March 1958, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held the Chengdu Conference and formed the "Opinions on the Three Gorges Water Conservancy Hub and the Planning of the Yangtze River Basin".
However, due to the immature technology and conditions at that time, until 1970, the central government decided to build a supporting project for the Three Gorges Project, the Gezhouba Water Conservancy Hub Project.

Why was the first large-scale water conservancy hub project located in Gezhouba
After the gezhouba water conservancy hub project was officially started, thousands of builders from all over the motherland set up camp in Gezhouba.
However, due to the construction of the Gezhouba Water Conservancy Hub Project, which adopts the method of surveying, designing and construction at the same time, with the progress of the project, some technical difficulties that need to be solved urgently have put the project in a difficult situation, and the construction of the project was forced to press the pause button in 1972.
How the builders overcame these difficulties
In November 1972, Zhou Enlai appointed Lin Yishan, a water conservancy expert, to be responsible for the revision and improvement of the Gezhouba Project and completed the design plan.

At the end of 1974, the Gezhouba Project resumed work. On January 4, 1981, the Gezhouba Water Conservancy Hub Project was successfully intercepted! In August 1988, the first dam of the Yangtze River took 18 years to complete!
The Gezhouba Water Conservancy Hub Project has alleviated the flooding of the Yangtze River to a certain extent, and has the functions of generating electricity and improving the waterway of the Gorge River, which can play a huge economic and social benefit.
At the same time, it has improved the scientific and technological level of China's hydropower construction, and this project has cultivated and trained a high-quality hydropower construction team and accumulated valuable experience for the construction of the Three Gorges Water Conservancy Hub Project.

"Spring City Everywhere" depicts a group of female workers buying flowers, wearing flowers, and dressing up with each other on the street after finishing their work at night. Through the relationship between thick and light, the work highlights the plot of the female workers wearing flowers for the white-clad female worker.
The picture focuses on the image of a handsome, generous and simple female worker. Her face was full of joy, her face was flushed, and she was a little shy because the female workers dressed her up.
The female worker who squatted down to buy flowers in the foreground was at the forefront and the image occupied the largest space, but the painter used light ink to deal with it.
The female worker on the left side of the picture with her back to the audience is shaped in thick ink, and her figure is the best interpretation of the female image.
