A few days ago, Shanghai officially announced the list of 100 "new performing arts spaces" and awarded licenses. Among them, as the first batch of Shanghai Grand Theatre A+ art spaces, on the occasion of welcoming the new year, launched a "welcome tour" suitable for all ages and full of literary and artistic style.
The Shanghai Grand Theatre specially created the "Next Stop, Theater" New Year installation in the A+ Art Space Gallery, with the remarkable "Chinese Red" as the keynote, full of a rich New Year atmosphere.
This installation built with the concept of "Time and Space Train" shows 7 exquisite theater art paper sculptures such as shanghai grand theatre, Russian Bolshoi Theatre, Paris Opera house in France, Metropolitan Opera House in the United States, Sydney Opera House in Australia, Esplanade In Singapore and Royal Opera House in the United Kingdom, wonderful stills and posters of past performances, collections such as ticket stubs, program books, derivatives and other collections, as well as multiple stamps and photography points for punching in and participating in interactions.
It is worth mentioning that around a series of New Year performances and the "Next Stop, Theater" New Year installation, the Shanghai Grand Theatre will create 4 categories of art activities in the A+ Art Space to accompany the audience to welcome the "Wen", "Dance" double complete, "Art" Extraordinary New Year's Day and Spring Festival. Every weekend, there will be a special "special tour" New Year installation to explain the 23 years of the creation and development history of the theater and the story of the stage behind the scenes; the "Next Stop, Stage" pop-up performance will invite young stage performers to stage musicals, dances and other diverse performance styles to inspire the "Future Stars of the Theater"; "One Person, One City, One Story" Art Sharing Activity, inviting artists, senior cultural experts and theater experts to decipher the uniqueness of cultural cities around the world.
Also located in A+ Art Space, the big café, the back desk and the art shop are constantly new during the festival, providing a good place for the audience to rest and choose gifts after watching plays, visiting exhibitions and activities. The New Year's Menu "True Love Supreme" at The Cafe & Cafe is a sweet winter warmth with matcha red velvet hot drinks paired with a special gingerbread man. After the bookstore and art store are renewed, excavating the accumulation of theater brands, the "Love Shakespeare" series of environmental protection bags inspired by Shakespeare operas performed at the Shanghai Grand Theatre is a good choice for theater lovers.
