"Playing with the Imagination - Longbao Cross-border Art Exhibition" recently opened at the Shanghai Baolong Art Museum. As the first solo exhibition of "Longbao" in the art museum, the exhibition invites nearly 60 well-known artists and cross-border art creators to create art through various media such as graffiti, painting, installation, sculpture and so on, with "Longbao" as the protagonist, to launch an artistic imagination.

The dragon is one of the traditional Chinese cultural images. The prototype of Long Bao is inspired by the sacred beast "Dragon" of the Palace Museum. There are a thousand dragon treasures in the eyes of a thousand people. From Impressionism to Fauvism, to the popular pop and Dada, to the popular steam wave and cyberpunk, all kinds of "dragon treasures" are presented to everyone one by one.

Painting graffiti dressing, multi-sided sugar glue material modeling reshaping... Through the use of different materials, the artists bring a variety of attributes to the audience. From the felt dragon treasure with soft materials and full of handcraft feeling, to the cyber dragon treasure adhering to traditional culture and dancing tai chi postures, and the building block dragon treasure that operates the remote rod in the cockpit, the artists use their own words to interpret the understanding of the IP image, which is different and wonderful.

In addition to the three-dimensional sculptures and graffiti dragon treasures, the paintings are also a highlight of this exhibition. Through the hands of artists, contemporary "elves" hover in the upper and lower gears or shuttle through the subway of the morning light, playing a song of urban music.

"Breakthrough" is another clue to the exhibition. A dragon treasure with the same form, through the artist's embellishment and imagination, becomes a multiple carrier of a parallel universe, breaking through the inherent image and deriving a variety of personalities and identities.

While feeling the artistic charm of the three major sections of graffiti, sculpture and painting, visitors can also fully feel the cross-media works brought by Artists such as Xue Song, Fan Yang and Chen Zhiguang.
