Ai Xin Jueluo Puyi, as the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty, was also the last emperor in Chinese history. At the age of 3, he sat on the emperor's throne under the will of Empress Dowager Cixi, was forced to abdicate at the age of 6, and later became the puppet emperor of puppet Manchukuo, his fate was not in his own hands, and his life was tortuous and bizarre.
In the thirty-second year of Guangxu, that is, in 1906, Puyi was born in the palace of Prince Shuo in Beijing, and was the great-grandson of the Daoguang Emperor. In the thirty-fourth year of Guangxu, the Guangxu Emperor was seriously ill, and Empress Dowager Cixi ordered Puyi to be raised in the palace, and after the death of the Guangxu Emperor, Empress Dowager Cixi let Puyi, who was only 3 years old, inherit the throne, and then changed her era name to "Xuantong", known in history as "Xuantong Emperor".
However, Puyi's imperial career was only three years, and three years after the declaration of reunification, the Wuchang Uprising broke out, and the Qing court was in chaos. The minister of war sent by Puyi commanded the Immovable Beiyang Army, and Yuan Shikai, who was secretly watching everything, knew the situation very well. After the victory of the Wuchang Uprising, the ministers of various countries unanimously demanded that the Qing court reuse Yuan Shikai, and later, under the coercion and inducement of Yuan Shikai, Puyi announced his abdication, but still used the title of emperor to live in the Forbidden City.
Later, under the persecution of Feng Yuxiang, Puyi and other members of the royal family were expelled from the palace, which also created conditions for the establishment of the puppet state of Manchukuo in the future. Soon after, Puyi was sent to Tianjin by the Japanese. During the seven years of living in Tianjin, Puyi hesitated between various choices, and he was active, longing for the Qing Dynasty to be restored.
After the September 18 Incident, Puyi came to Fengtian with the help of the Japanese, established the puppet state of Manchukuo in the northeast region, and served as the ruler of Manchukuo. In the 23rd year of the Republic of China, the name of the country was changed to "Manchurian Empire" and the name was changed to "Emperor". In the thirty-fourth year of the Republic of China, the Manchurian regime collapsed, and Puyi announced his abdication. He was later captured by the Red Army.
In 1950, Puyi received ideological re-education and labor reform at the Fushun War Criminals Management Institute, numbered "981". In 1959, Puyi received a pardon, such an amnesty made Puyi unbelievable, he said: No one can have me, I am more serious, my performance is not as good as others, and it is not enough to be pardoned. Therefore, after knowing that he could come out, Puyi did not think of anything.
In 1960, after coming out, Puyi was assigned to work at the Beijing Botanical Garden, which was his first job. He was just as curious and expectant of this new job as a normal person. After all, in the long first half of his life, he had never had any work experience in this area.
However, Puyi's work in the botanical garden is relatively easy, that is, to water and clean the plants, or to sell tickets. Puyi worked diligently and earnestly, and did not mention his status as the last emperor again. In the work of the botanical garden, Puyi also learned a lot of new skills, and he used his own hands to create his own life.
A month later, Puyi got his first salary of 60 yuan, and the 60 yuan at that time was a huge amount of money. At that time, an ordinary family,000 yuan in a month's total income was only about 20 or 30 yuan, which shows that Puyi's salary is still very high. At the moment of getting the salary, Puyi's heart was very excited, after all, this was the result of his own labor, and he had never experienced it before.
So Puyi used the money to go to the store to buy a more comfortable quilt, because the quilt he was using now was too hard. I then bought some fruit and refreshments, which were considered luxuries at the time. Indeed, after all, the life of the emperor before Puyi was comfortable, and he would not treat himself badly.
After work, Puyi married Li Shuxian under the introduction of others, and after marriage, their husband and wife were harmonious and very happy. In 1967, Puyi died of illness at the age of 61.
