During the Second World War, there were many puppet armies around the world, which were formed specifically for the service of the invaders, and during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, China at that time also had many puppet armies, of which there were four main parts, namely the Manchukuo Army of the puppet Manchukuo, the Peaceful Founding Army of the Wang puppet government, the North China Security Army of the Puppet North China Political Affairs Committee, and the Mongolian Government Army.
The "Imperial Allied Army" that we see on television or are familiar with refers to the North China Security Army. They nominally belong to the Wang puppet government, but have a high degree of autonomy, the North China Security Army and the Peace And Founding Army are very different in the army, organization, uniform and other aspects, the "Imperial Allied Army" was founded in 1940, initially the North China Security Army, soon after the establishment of the Wang puppet regime, renamed the "North China Appeasement Army", this is the "Imperial Allied Army". The "Imperial Allied Forces" had three commanders-in-chief.
The first term: Qi Xieyuan, the "Imperial Allied Army" under the jurisdiction of 3 group armies, less than 10,000 troops, after the War of Resistance, the Eighth Route Army behind the enemy behind the development of the anti-Japanese armed forces more and more growing, so the Japanese army expanded, the largest with more than 100,000 troops, under the jurisdiction of 12 group armies.
Qi Xieyuan was arrested by the Nationalist government after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, but said in court: "Wang Jingwei is a traitor. The second term: Du Xijun, Du Xijun was a small soldier in the Hubei New Army, who later studied at the fourth phase of the Japanese Army Non-Commissioned Officer School, served as the commander of the Fourth Division after the Xinhai Revolution, and soon settled in Tianjin. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Du Xijun joined the Wang puppet government, and in 1943 Du Xijun served as the commander-in-chief of the "Imperial Allied Army". After Japan's defeat, Du Xijun was arrested by the Nationalist government and later released. After the founding of New China, Du Xijun was executed in 1951 at the age of 71.
Third term: Menzhizhong. A graduate of the first phase of the Baoding Army Officer School, he later joined Feng Yuxiang's Northwest Army, and after the establishment of the "Wang Puppet Government", Menzhizhong joined, and in 1944 Menzhizhong served as the commander-in-chief of the "Imperial Allied Army", after the surrender of Japan, the "Imperial Allied Army" was absorbed by the then National Government, and Menzhizhong became the commander of the Ninth Army of the North China Advance Army. Ironically, a traitor turned into a senior military official of the Kuomintang, died of a cerebral hemorrhage in Hong Kong in 1951. He died on December 31, 2012 at the age of 6
