Yang Yuhuan's life makes people relish it, the title of Princess Shou is already honorable, who once wanted to be born beautiful and difficult to give up, and later "a dynasty chose the king's side".
Tang Xuanzong had never established a queen since he deposed his wife Empress Wang, so when Yang Yuhuan was crowned Yang Guifei, her position in the harem was equivalent to that of an empress.
The Old Book of Tang records: "After Emperor Xuanzong's abolition, the Wang clan, the Tongzhou Xiajiao people, liang ji prefecture stabbed shi shen nian. When Shang was the King of Linzi, He hou was a concubine. The admiral revolted, plotted quite premeditated, and favored the great cause. Born in the first year, she was the empress. ”
Emperor Xuanzong of Tang once said to his attendants in the harem: "If you have Obtained Yang Guifei, you will be able to obtain the most precious treasure" (from the Secret Records of the Ancient and Modern Palaces, Vol. 3). From here, we can see that Tang Xuanzong's heart attaches great importance to Yang Guifei.
It is recorded in the Zhengshi history that after the outbreak of the Anshi Rebellion, Yang Guifei followed Tang Xuanzong into exile in Shuzhong, and when passing by Ma Songyi, the soldiers believed that the Anshi Rebellion was due to Yang Guifei's red face and the interference of yang Guozhong by his uncle Yang Guozhong, so a mutiny occurred, and he petitioned Tang Xuanzong to execute Yang Guifei and Yang Guozhong, which was the Ma Songyi Mutiny.
In order to protect himself, Tang Xuanzong had no choice but to finally kill Yang Guifei. This history is also reflected in Bai Juyi's "Long Hate Song": "The Sixth Army does not send helplessness, like a moth to die before the horse."
However, for the cause of Yang Guifei's death, there are still many unsolved mysteries. The most famous is the famous Japanese movie star Momoe Yamaguchi in the 1980s, in 2002, he once openly claimed to be a descendant of Yang Guifei in the show, which caused an uproar from all walks of life.
Mr. Yu Pingbo, a famous essayist and red scholar in the 20th century, once believed that Yang Guifei did not die in Ma Songpo, but was escorted to live in Japan.
In the western part of The Japanese island of Honshu, there was once an obscure village called Kuzu. But with the passage of time, this small village suddenly became famous in the world, and was crowned with the title of "the hometown of Yang Guifei", and Yamaguchi Baihui was born from this village.
In fact, as early as 1986, the people of the Yamaguchi family in Japan once came to China with a copy of the Yang family genealogy repaired in the 29th year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1690), hoping to find their ancestors.
In February 1998, the Yamaguchi family re-entered the "Genealogy of the Yang Clan of Shilin Yang" in Shaliu Town, Sanmen County, and officially recognized the ancestors and returned to the sect. But this only shows that the Yamaguchi family is a descendant of the Yang family, but the Yang family does not represent Yang Guifei.
Bai Juyi once wrote in the "Long Hate Song": "In the dirt under the slope of Ma Song, there is no place for Yuyan to die."
According to historical records, people did not find the body of Yang Guifei in Ma Songpo, including the later Tang Xuanzong also sent people to search for it, but there was no result, so they had a guess about it. At that time, the general in the army thought that Yang Guifei's beauty was amazing, and could not bear to kill her, so he replaced her with a maid. In this way, Yang Guifei was able to escape, and the general sent someone to escort her to Japan, after which Yang Guifei spent the rest of her life in Japan.
This statement is derived from the Japanese scholar Otsu Gun's "Chronicle of the County", in this book, describing the final destination of Yang Guifei's life, has been circulating in the Japanese folk and Japanese academic circles, and even some people say that Yang Guifei is Japanese, it is simply nonsense, nonsense!
There is also a record in the book "Chronicles of the Counties", saying that after Tang Xuanzong learned that Yang Guifei crossed the Fusang in the east, he had a hard time giving up his old feelings, and he was particularly missed in his heart, but it was certainly unrealistic to travel across the ocean to see her, so he sent a special envoy to Japan, took the opportunity to send two Buddha statues, and persuaded her to return to Tang.
However, at this time, Yang Guifei's heart was like ashes, and she felt that Tang Xuanzong had smuggled herself to Japan in order to save herself, and the love affair had long been severed, so she refused the envoy. He then took down a jade hairpin and asked the envoy to give it to Tang Xuanzong as a token of gratitude. A few years later, Yang Guifei died of illness in Japan, and the so-called "Second Noble Temple" was named after those two Buddha statues.
I wonder what historical materials this so-called Japanese scholar Otsu-gun wrote this "Chronicle of the County" based on? Even if, as far as he was concerned, Yang Guifei really crossed to Japan in the east, then as a noble concubine who had lived in the imperial palace for so many years, she was not familiar with Japanese life, how could she live?
Anyway, except for the Japanese scholar Otsu Gun's "Chronicle of the County" that records the old love between Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, there is no other basis at present.
In the change of Ma Songyi, the cause of Yang Guifei's death is still a mystery, or died in Ma Songpo, or in the Buddhist Hall, or in the rebel army, perhaps swallowing gold and dying... The world speculates.
But up to now, there is no very credible and authoritative basis to prove that Yang Guifei crossed to Japan in the east, so Yamaguchi Baie said that he was a descendant of Yang Guifei, in the author's opinion, it is unfounded and credible.
The tomb of Yang Guifei that has been found so far is actually just the crown tomb of Yang Guifei, located in Ma Town, Xingping Ridge City, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, there is a monument in front of the tomb, inscribed: "Tomb of Tang Xuanzong Noble Concubine Yang", behind the tomb there is a marble statue of Yang Guifei about 6 meters high.
