All Hoshigoku L models are equipped with Volvo Drive-E series VEP4 in-line four-cylinder all-aluminum engines and are available in two tuned versions, 2.0TD-T4 EVO and 2.0TD-T5. Most of the owners who participated in the survey gave a high evaluation of the comfort, silence and functionality of the Hoshikoshi L, but some owners said that during the driving process, the braking performance of the Hoshikoshi L was average, and there was room for optimization and improvement.

The survey results of the first failure time period show that for most of the surveyed car owners, the first failure of the vehicle occurred within 1 month of the purchase of the car, accounting for 42.9%.

In further investigation of car owners, we found that the proportion of non-human failures in body accessories and electrical appliances was the highest, which was also reflected in the survey results of "the most serious quality problems or defects of this car". After investigation, it was found that car owners complained the most about the "other" problems of Geely Xingyue L, accounting for 82.1%, of which most of them were "battery failure" and "audio and video system failure". In addition, some car owners have also reported that Hoshikoshi L also has problems such as "engine failure lights up" and "flat tires".

However, in the overall evaluation of pre-sales/after-sales service, the owners surveyed still gave an objective evaluation, of which 13.3% of the owners who thought they were "very satisfied"; 21.7% of the owners who thought they were "satisfied"; 40% of the owners who thought that they were "average" and 25% of the evaluations that explicitly expressed "dissatisfaction".
