Speaking of Teacher Li Shizhong's experience of painting plum blossoms, we have to start from his personal experience. Mr. Li Shizhong was born in 1943 in Yingshang, Anhui Province. He enlisted in the Sixty-third Army in the 1960s. During this period, he created woodblock prints: snowy night screening, chest with sunrise, deep nostalgia and other works published in Wen Wei Po, Comrade-in-Arms Daily, Zhejiang Workers, Peasants and Soldiers Painting Blade, Yan'an Painting Blade and other newspapers and magazines. From the army, he transferred to the Fuyang District Cultural and Labor Troupe as the deputy director of the art committee. After the transfer of the exhibition hall, the cultural relics bureau work. During this period, he created printmaking works such as "New Class at Night School", "Tutoring Report", "Two Generations" and other works, and published the "Anthology of Black and White Prints" by Shanghai People's Publishing House. People's Daily, Wen Wei Po, Beijing Weekly, and Anhui Black and White Woodcut Collection all published his works. In the 1980s, Mr. Li Shizhong went to the sea to establish a cultural industry, serving as the director of the craft factory and the manager of the Oasis Real Estate Company. During this period, he invented polymer process technology and won the Ministry of Culture Science and Technology Progress Award and national patent. Founded the Bronze Cultural Relics Research Institute as a member unit of the Chinese Society of Cultural Relics. After his retirement, he regained his pen and ink and began to relax for Yi Qing.
