According to the official introduction, the GMAX3809 uses a large pixel design of 3.8um, with an effective resolution of 4096 (H) x 2160 (V) (9 MP) and an optical dimension of 1.1". Combined with an advanced charge domain global shutter pixel design, it can obtain up to 11.5ke- full charge and 3.6e- readout noise, and the chip has a single dynamic range of more than 70dB, providing customers with superior imaging performance.

To further improve imaging in low light, the GMAX3809 uses Red Fox technology to achieve quantum efficiencies of 30% and 14% at 850 nm and 940 nm, respectively, for better low-light imaging.

IT House has learned that, like other products in the GMAX series, the GMAX3809 has a shutter efficiency better than 1/40000 thanks to its fluorescent tube technology and optimized pixel design, which avoids gradients in the image even under strong light exposure, and its horizontal angle response is > 20°@ 80% response, which greatly improves the sensitivity of the image edges.

Equipped with an advanced charge domain global shutter pixel design, when capturing fast-moving objects, the image is clear and invisible, and what you see is what you get, which greatly improves the accuracy of license plate/face recognition.
