On May 9, 2022, ZTE held a new product launch conference and officially released the new ZTE Axon 40 series machine, including two products, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra and the ZTE Axon 40 Pro.
It is understood that ZTE Axon 40 Ultra in the industry debuted independent pixel one-wheel-drive technology, a pixel circuit to drive a pixel unit, so that each pixel can be controlled individually, eliminate the edge aliasing effect, not only to achieve 400PPI of ultra-delicate display effect, but also to ensure less than 2% of the full-screen brightness difference, the front display is integrated, is by far the most perfect full-screen solution.
Axon 40 Ultra mobile phone also adopts a curved screen design, the curvature is relatively large, can achieve a bezel-less visual effect on both sides, the upper and lower borders are also very narrow, coupled with the blessing of the camera technology under the screen, the front visual effect is very outstanding.
In terms of parameters, ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED full screen, 2480x1116 resolution and 120Hz high brush, touch sampling rate increased to 360Hz, support 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 1.07 billion colors, support 1440Hz high frequency PWM dimming and Rheinland TUV low blue light certification, double eye protection.
In terms of photography, ZTE Axon 40 Ultra focuses on three main cameras + three 8K computational photography, and the rear main camera adopts the same 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor as the Nubia Z40 Pro, the light sensitive unit reaches 1/1.73 inch, the single pixel size is 0.8μm, the equivalent focal length is 35mm, and the main camera supports omnidirectional focus, and OIS optical image stabilization is standard.
ZTE Axon 40 Pro adopts a classic double-ring design, side "hyperbolic", 2.3mm ultra-narrow middle frame, with 8.46mm body thickness and 199g of the whole machine weight, one-handed grip without pressure, providing three colors of night black, crystal blue and star orange.
On the screen, the Axon 40 Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED flexible curved screen, which supports intelligent adjustment from 60Hz to 144Hz, 100% coverage of DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 10bit color depth, up to 1000 nits peak brightness, and a maximum contrast ratio of 3 million to 1.
Core configuration, ZTE Axon 40 Pro is equipped with a generation of God U Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, built-in 5000mAh super battery, support 66W fast charging, equipped with DTS sound dual speakers, and Axon 40 Ultra the same X-axis linear motor.
In terms of imaging, ZTE Axon 40 Pro has a 100 million pixel ultra-high-definition main camera, using an aperture of f1.89, a large sensor of 1/1.52 inch, and 2.1 μm equivalent pixels, which is very good in low-light imaging and clarity. There's also an 8-megapixel, 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, as well as a 4cm macro camera and a separate depth-of-field camera.
In terms of price, ZTE Axon 40 Pro 8GB+256GB is priced at 2998 yuan, 12GB+256GB is priced at 3298 yuan, 12GB+512GB is priced at 3798 yuan, which will be sold on May 25; ZTE Axon 40 Ultra 8+256G is 4998, 12+256G is priced at 5298 yuan, 12+512G is priced at 5798 yuan, 16+1TB is priced at 7298 yuan, and it is officially sold on May 13.
