It is precisely for this reason that when Wu Zetian was a concubine of Li Shimin, although he was favored, he did not have a great canonization.
Yuan Tiangang, born in 573, whose original name was Yuan Tiangang, spent a long period of hunger and cold in his youth, but he loved to read, read many books, and was good at learning, and had a lot of research on physiognomy, and later his good friend Zhang Kam invited him to Luoyang to become an official, so he went to Luoyang.
When he arrived in Luoyang, he already had a lot of experience in xiangshu, so he was sought after by many people, and he was famous during the Tang Gaozu period, so Li Shimin summoned Yuan Tiangang and let him stay in Chang'an, and Yuan Tiangang became Li Shimin's wisdom bag.
Although Yuan Tiangang was able to tell a person's future fortunes, at that time, Fang Xuanling and Li Zhensu both looked for him to look at him, Yuan Tiangang saw that Li Zhensu could be a five-pin official, while Fang Xuanling was the face of wealth, Li Zhensu could do the five-pin official, he must have asked Fang Xuanling, Li Zhensu naturally did not believe it.
Later, Fang Xuanling really became a heavy minister, and Li Zhensu also found Fang Xuanling for the five pin officials, which shows that Yuan Tiangang's xiangshu is very smart, but once Li Shimin asked about military matters, Yuan Tiangang said that the heavenly opportunity could not be leaked, and it was impossible to share the emperor's worries.
After that, Yuan Tiangang had a premonition that continuing to stay in the emperor would definitely face disasters, so he asked to return to his hometown, and did not want any official position, Yuan Tiangang insisted on leaving, Li Shimin could not keep, in 638, Wu Meiniang entered the palace, when Tianxiang was "Wunu Dai Tang", the people were boiling, and Li Shimin was also very jealous.
When Yuan Tiangang left Chang'an, Li Shimin once asked him to calculate a gua and asked: When will the Tang Dynasty die? If Yuan Tiangang appeared in other dynasties, it is estimated that every emperor would ask this question, and this question is also the most difficult, Yuan Tiangang is not easy to answer, just say "when the pig goes up the tree".
Li Shimin thought how can the pig go up the tree, the Tang Dynasty must last forever, but also the joy of the eyebrows, which allowed Yuan Tiangang to return to his hometown, but what Li Shimin did not expect was that this "pig" was not a pig, 200 years later, that is, in 907, the Liang King Zhu Wen forced the Tang Emperor to make concessions, and the Tang Dynasty officially ended and entered the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period.
Yuan Tiangang also calculated for himself, saying that he would die in April of the nineteenth year of Zhenguan, and if so, he died in Huojing County in April, and he had fused many aspects of things with another phaser, Li Chunfeng, and wrote "Pushing Back Map" together, which also became the first strange book in China, predicting many things in the future.
