In late November, there were serious anti-government riots in the Solomon Islands capital. China firmly supports the efforts of the government to maintain domestic stability, firmly safeguards relations between China and the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens in the country, and strongly condemns all illegal acts of violence.
At the request of the Solomon Islands Government, China will urgently provide a batch of police riot materials to the institute and dispatch a temporary police advisory team.
