I have always felt that during World War II, Germany, Italy, and Japan were like a cross-talk: Germany was funny, Japan was praised, and Italy was announced. Japan's humble peace of mind is doing the little brother, while the Italian newspaper screen is frequently wrong, causing the funny to come to the round field from time to time.

In the past, it was agreed that Hitler had slaughtered Jews and established various concentration camps, which was extremely hateful. And today, if you look at history, that "innocent" Poland is far more repulsive than Hitler's Germany.
During World War II, Italy was funny, and Poland was in the middle of nowhere.
On September 1, 1939, Hitler, the Fuehrer of Nazi Germany, sent more than 1.5 million troops to attack Poland. On the same day, Soviet leader Stalin sent 1.1 million troops to attack eastern Poland. Caught between the two great powers, Poland soon announced its surrender. Although Poland claims to have an army of 800,000, almost all of them are cavalry. Of course, the cavalry could not stop the tanks, and the Polish cavalry fell in pieces in the wilderness.
But the result for Poland is entirely its own doing and deserves no mercy. Seriously, Poland's aid and abetting was one of the reasons for the outbreak of World War II.
Slashing tanks with a knife, once we thought the Polish cavalry was so tragic?
In September 1939, in the small Polish border town of Krogati, more than 6,000 Polish cavalry mounted high horses and wielding sabers illuminated by the sun launched a tsunami-like charge, and the enemy standing opposite them was the german fourth panzer division, the most elite.
"Cavalry slashing tanks" as a tidbit in the opening battle of World War II has since been recorded in history. Looking at the entire history of World War II, the Poles who fought cavalry against tanks were impressed by their bravery and tragic fate.
Among the newly established countries after the First World War, Poland's comprehensive national strength was actually the strongest, except for its slightly inferior industrial and technological capabilities to Czechoslovakia.
Soon after its rebirth, Poland fought six successive border defense wars: Poznan in 1918, Germany in Upper Silesia in 1919-1921, Ukrainian nationalists in Lviv and Eastern Galicia between 1918 and 1919, Czechoslovakia in 1919-1920 against Teshen; and Virno in Velno from 1918 to 1920.
Chief among them was the fierce war with the Soviet Union between 1919 and 1921, in which the Poles created the "Miracle of the Vistula River" and blocked the tide of Soviets rushing to Europe.
Before World War II, the Polish army had been mobilized long ago, and the Poles had long realized that Germany would sooner or later go to war. But when World War II broke out, Poland was vulnerable and fell within a month.
Why was the Polish cavalry hastily defeated? Why was Poland attacked by two great powers, Germany and the Soviet Union? In fact, it is not only the disadvantage of the soldiers who are not good at fighting, but also the diplomatic stain compared to the military defeat, but also the failure of Poland.
Not a head bird, but Poland is a famous wall-headed grass?
Being able to allow two big countries with different ideologies to attack themselves at the same time can only illustrate one point: diplomacy.
Poland's biggest diplomatic problem is whether it is too late or not to measure up.
You may remember such a scene, when Gu Weijun argued on the basis of reason at the Paris Peace Conference to ensure that China's rights and interests were not occupied by Japan, at that time Britain and France were not easy to say anything, but there was a country that vigorously defended Japan, and this country was Poland. Gu Weijun said in his memoirs that he really did not understand why Poland did this.
In the 10 years before World War II, Poland was definitely a strange thing. This country does not speak of morality in diplomacy, jumps between major powers, and is finally abandoned by countries.
1. Betrayed France, leading to the collapse of the Triple Alliance
After World War I, Poland, which had been divided, became independent, and the little brother of Poland clung to the thighs of Britain and France. In 1933, Hitler became Chancellor of Germany and the Nazi Party formally took power in Germany. This deeply frightened Poland, and in order to please Hitler, Poland announced its withdrawal from the Triple Alliance that year.
In 1938, Germany attacked Czechoslovakia, and Czechoslovakia's military strength far exceeded that of the wasted Italy. But it is still not a rival to Germany. Czech allies France and Britain appealed for help, only to be betrayed by a partnership.
Poland's performance was even worse, and it went so far as to collude with Germany to attack Czechoslovakia.
Second, attack Germany by way, because Poland's refusal allowed World War II to spread
Because of the attack on Czechoslovakia with Germany, Poland completely offended France and Britain, but Britain and France also had faults, so they did not say anything.
However, Hitler's spread in Europe made Britain and France feel that the war was not far away from them, so they agreed with the Soviet Union to attack Germany from east to west. It was convenient for Britain and France to attack Germany, after all, the territory and territorial waters were bordered, but the Soviet Union was not very good: there was a second cargo called Poland in the middle.
Poland seemed to have an iron heart to follow the German big brother and refused to allow the Soviet Union to attack Hitler in Germany through the road, so the plan of the East-West attack was aborted. The end result was the famous Soviet-German Non-Aggression Pact.
Third, do not measure up to their own strength, Poland anti-water Germany
Hitler was already quite satisfied with the little brother of Poland, and Hitler offered to let Poland return the Danzig Corridor that had been plundered from World War I to Germany. In fact, hitler wants to go back to this matter is beyond reproach, 80% of the population of the Danzig Corridor is German, everyone wants to go home, Poland has a better attitude to hitler, we are still friends.
However, Poland was too rigid and resolutely refused germany's request. Not only that, but Poland wanted to return to the arms of Britain and France.
Britain and France were already angry with Poland, but it was also good to think of putting a nail in Hitler's back, and also agreed to Poland's request. As a result, Hitler was furious when he found out, and in order to avoid Britain, France and Poland attacking him at the same time, he decisively sent a telegram to Stalin to jointly attack Poland.
"Tribute to the Red Army of the Soviet Union, composed of workers and peasants"?
On September 1, 1939, Germany sent 1.5 million troops to attack Poland, and the Soviet Union sent 1.1 million troops to attack Poland from the east on the same day.
The Anglo-French army stood still on the Franco-German border, and more than 1 million Anglo-French troops watched the Germans attack Poland recklessly. Of course, Poland blamed itself, it went to the bottom of the road and offended all the great powers.
Eventually the Germans and Soviets met in central Poland, and the Germans unfurled banners "Salute to the Red Army of workers and peasants." ”
Hitler said he might visit Moscow in the summer of 1940. The Soviets captured 250,000 Polish officers and soldiers, and in the spring of 1940 the Soviets executed 21,000 of them.
In 1942, when questioned by the Polish government-in-exile, Stalin said, "They fled through Siberia to China. ”
