In September 1939, Germany blitzed Poland, symbolizing the outbreak of World War II. Poland, with a million troops, rose up to resist, but under the German strategy of "blitzkrieg", there was no way to fight back, and in just one month, Poland declared its national subjugation.
At first glance, Poland may seem to feel very weak, but in fact, even if it is indeed inferior in military strength to Germany, the Soviet Union, Britain and France, Poland is by no means a weak country that can be rubbed.
At the beginning of the outbreak of World War II, the total strength of the army at that time was a million people, including a complete army, navy and air force, the number of tanks in the world ranked fourth, and the number of various station motifs and bombers was as many as more than 400. None of this, however, could stop Germany.
Because the Polish command was overconfident in its military strength and counted on the assistance of its allies Britain and France, it deployed all its troops on the German-Polish border, and this deployment without strategic depth made the Polish army under the german "lightning" high-speed and deep-depth advance, the army was divided and annihilated, and the Polish resistance quickly collapsed.

Just as the Polish government was fleeing across the border to Romania, the Soviet Union, which had already secretly established an agreement with Germany to divide Poland, seized the opportunity to attack Poland on both sides with Germany on the pretext of "protecting the interests of the Russian people" as an excuse. Poland was left alone and had to surrender.
Why, then, did Poland suffer from both German and Soviet calculations, and the ridicule of its allies Britain and France, in addition to the fact that Poland is really a small country compared to the four major powers, it is also very important that Poland's failed diplomacy.
For the Soviet Union and Germany, Poland has always pursued a diplomatic line of "no closer to Berlin than a millimeter from Moscow", and after World War I, Poland also invaded Ukraine and Belarus in order to restore its former territory. Therefore, Poland and Germany and the Soviet Union have always been hostile.
In 1923, after the end of World War I, France united with the Czech Republic and Poland to form a three-power alliance specifically designed to contain Germany in case it made a comeback. But after Hitler came to power in 1933, Poland felt a strong Germany, and at the end of the same year, it announced its withdrawal from the Triple Alliance.
Not only that, when Germany conquered the Czech Republic, Poland also fell to its former allies and divided up a piece of Czech territory.
At that time, Germany had aroused the envy of Britain and France, so it wanted to ally with the Soviet Union. Britain and France believed that Czechoslovakia had been occupied by Germany and that Hitler would continue his crusade to the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union also said that if Germany attacked France, the Soviet Union could gather 2 million troops to attack Germany.
Just when the three countries reached an agreement, the problem came, Germany and the Soviet Union did not border each other, if the Soviet Union wanted to fight Germany, it would inevitably have to borrow Poland, and as a result, Poland refused to agree, so the cooperation between the three countries was forced to give Poland a yellow. For Britain and France, Poland was simply not enough to fail, and for the Soviet Union, it was a new vendetta and an old vendetta.
Therefore, offending the four strongest european countries at the same time, Britain, France, Germany, and the Soviet Union, which was an important factor leading to the fall of Poland again. Another million will have to kneel.
