Forest resources are crucial in the era of cold weapons, and wood is not only the cost of shipbuilding, but also the main material for bows and arrows. The famous English longbow required the British to import high-quality yew wood from the Iberian Peninsula through Venetian merchants, and only when the customer's wallet was really not enough, the English bow and arrow would be replaced by elm, hazelnut, ash or oak. Timber resources have helped people fight all over the sea, land and air for thousands of years, but it is not that with wood can be strong, the Chinese toastmasters and Amazon tribal chiefs with massive timber resources are just nesting roles, processing ability and application ability is the key.
