Description of non-conforming items

I. Sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate (in terms of 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid)

Sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate, the domestic trade name is anti-fallin, borgolin, is a commonly used plant growth inhibitor in agricultural production. It can promote biosynthesis and biological transfer in plants, which can not only prevent falling flowers and fruits, improve fruit set rate, improve fruit growth rate, promote early ripening, but also achieve the purpose of improving plant quality, and it also has the effect of herbicide. The Announcement of the State Food and Drug Administration, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the National Health and Family Planning Commission on the prohibition of the use of 6-benzyl adenine and other substances in the production process of bean sprouts (No. 11 [2015]) pointed out that the safety of sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate in the production process of bean sprouts has not yet been concluded, and in order to ensure the safety of bean sprouts, it is stipulated that the use of sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate is prohibited in the production and operation of bean sprouts.

The possible reasons for the excessive sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate are that some farmers do not understand the changes in national regulations and continue to use such drugs; second, the farmers have weak safety awareness, rootless bean sprouts are easy to clean and eat, and the market demand is large, which is added to increase production; the third is that the bean sprouts transportation process is not resistant to storage, and it is added to increase its stress resistance and achieve the purpose of preservation.

2. Poison ticks

Chlorpyrifos is a non-systemic broad-spectrum insecticide and acaricide, which has the triple effect of gastric toxicity, touch killing and fumigation, and has a good preventive effect on a variety of chewing and sucking mouthpart pests in rice, wheat, cotton, fruit trees, vegetables and tea trees. A small amount of pesticide residues will not cause acute poisoning in the human body, but long-term consumption of products with excessive pesticide residues has a certain impact on human health. The National Standard for Food Safety The maximum residue limit of pesticides in food (GB 2763-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of dead tick poisoning in ordinary cabbage is 0.1mg/kg. The reason why chlorpyrifos exceeds the standard is that the grower may not control the amount of pesticide used and use pesticides in excess; the second is that the grower may spray the pesticide and let the product flow into the market without a safe interval.

CADMI (in Cd)

Cadmium is a heavy non-ferrous metal element, the chemical symbol Cd. When the environment is contaminated with cadmium, cadmium can be enriched in living organisms and enter the human body through the food chain, causing chronic poisoning. Long-term intake of cadmium-containing foods can cause chronic poisoning of the kidneys, and at the same time, because cadmium ions replace calcium ions in bones, thereby hindering the normal deposition of calcium on the bone, and also hindering the normal curing and maturation of bone collagen, resulting in chondropathy. Symptoms of acute poisoning are mainly manifested as nausea, salivation, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and then cause symptoms of central nervous system poisoning, and in severe cases, death due to prostration can occur. The National Standard for Food Safety (GB 2762-2017) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of cadmium (in cd) in peppers is 0.05mg/kg.

4. Thiamethoxamine

Thiamethoxamine is a new type of insecticide with high efficiency, safety and high selectivity, which has the advantages of high efficiency, broad spectrum, small dosage, low toxicity, long efficacy period, no drug harm to crops, safe use, and no interaction resistance with conventional pesticides. Long-term consumption of products with pesticide residues exceeding the standard may have potential harm to human health. The National Standard for Food Safety The maximum residue limit of pesticides in food (GB 2763-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of thiosefen in bananas is 0.02mg/kg, and the maximum residue limit of thiamethoxamine in celery is 0.04mg/kg. The reason why thiazonidine exceeds the standard is that the grower may not control the amount of pesticide use and use pesticides in excess; the second is that the grower may spray the pesticide and let the product flow into the market without a safe interval.

5. Thiamethoxine

Thiamethoxine is a new structure of the second generation of nicotinoid high-efficiency and low-toxicity insecticides, which have gastric toxicity, touch killing and systemic activity against pests, and are used for foliar spraying and soil root irrigation treatment. If you consume ginger with excessive thiazide for a long time, it may have an impact on your health. The National Standard for Food Safety The maximum residue limit of pesticides in food (GB 2763-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of thiamethoxine in bananas is 0.02mg/kg. The reason for the detection of thiothiazine in bananas may be due to the fact that growers did not pick strictly according to the safe intervals for pesticide use.

6. Acetamidine

Acetamidine is a new broad-spectrum insecticide with certain acaricidal activity, mainly used for the control of aphids, planthoppers and mites, and is toxic to humans and animals. A small number of pesticide residues do not cause acute poisoning, but excessive consumption of vegetables with excessive pesticide residues may affect health. The National Standard for Food Safety The maximum residue limit of pesticides in food (GB 2763-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of acetamidine in peppers is 0.2mg/kg. The reason for the excessive standard of acetamidine is that the grower may use pesticides in excess in order to achieve the insecticidal effect; the second is that the growers may spray pesticides and let the products flow into the market without a safe interval.

7. Methylaminoavermectin benzoate

Metamidoaminosin benzoate is a microbial low-toxicity insecticide and acaricide that has high activity in the prevention and control of lepidoptera pests such as cotton worms, mites, coleoptera and homoptera pests, and is not easy to make pests resistant. Long-term consumption of vegetables with pesticide residues exceeding the standard may affect human health. The National Standard for Food Safety The maximum residue limit of pesticides in food (GB 2763-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of methylamino avermectin benzoate in peppers is 0.02mg/kg. The reason why the methylamino avermectin benzoate exceeds the standard is that the grower may use pesticides in excess in order to achieve the insecticidal effect; the second is that the growers may spray the pesticides and let the products flow into the market before the safe interval.

8. Acid price (in terms of fat)

Acid price is a quality indicator, mainly used to evaluate the degree of food spoilage. In general, a slight increase in the price of acid will not harm the health of the human body, but if the acid price is too high, it will lead to gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea and damage to the liver. The National Standard for Food Safety for Nuts and Seeds (GB 19300-2014) stipulates that the maximum allowable value of black sesame acid price is 3mg/g. The reason for the excessive acid price may be related to improper control of storage and transportation conditions.

IX. Enrofloxacin

Enrofloxacin is an artificially synthesized quinolone antibacterial drug, which is widely used in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases in livestock, poultry and aquaculture because of its high efficiency and broad spectrum, few drug-resistant bacteria and no cross-resistance with other antibacterial drugs. Long-term consumption of enrofloxacin exceeding the standard of aquatic products may lead to the accumulation of such drugs in the human body, and long-term excessive intake will bring harm to the health of the human body. The National Standard for Food Safety The maximum residue limit of veterinary drugs in food (GB 31650-2019) and the Announcement No. 235 of the Ministry of Agriculture stipulate that the maximum allowable value of enrofloxacin in aquatic products is 100 μg/kg.

The reason for the excess of enrofloxacin in aquatic products may be caused by the use of enrofloxacin for aquatic control in the aquaculture process on the one hand, and on the other hand, it may be caused by the lack of a reasonable period of drug suspension after the use of enrofloxacin.

10. Cadbury

Carbufuran, also known as carbofuran, is a carbamate insecticide and nematicide. According to China's pesticide toxicity grading standards, furanofuran is a highly toxic pesticide and cannot be used on vegetables and fruit trees. On December 27, 2019, furantine was included in the list of drugs and other compounds prohibited in food animals. The National Standard for Food Safety The maximum residue limit of pesticides in food (GB 2763-2019) stipulates that the maximum residue limit of Budweiser in citrus is 0.02mg/kg.

The reason for the CPAX exceeding the standard may be related to the illegal use of pesticides by growers.

11. The residual amount of aluminum

Potassium aluminum sulfate (also known as potassium alum) and ammonium aluminium sulfate (also known as ammonium alum) are commonly used leavening agents and stabilizers in food processing, and aluminum residues are produced after use. Aluminum is not an essential trace element of the human body, does not participate in normal physiological metabolism, has accumulation, excessive intake will affect the body's absorption of iron, calcium and other components, resulting in osteoporosis, anemia, and even affect the development of nerve cells. Aluminum in bread and pastries exceeded the standard, and most of them used baking powder containing aluminum. This type of baking powder is mainly processed from alum substances (potassium aluminum sulfate or ammonium aluminum sulfate) as the main raw material. The National Standard for Food Safety The Standard for the Use of Food Additives (GB 2760-2014) stipulates that the residual amount of aluminum in fritters (dry samples, in terms of Al) should be less than or equal to 100mg/kg. The reason for the excess of aluminum residues may be the artificial over-addition of aluminum-containing baking powder as a leavening agent in fritters, pastries, biscuits and puffed foods to make the tissue taste more fluffy.

XII. Benzoic acid and its sodium salt

Benzoic acid, also known as benzoic acid, is a compound formed by the substitution of hydrogen on the benzene ring by carboxyl groups (-COOH). Sodium benzoate is a sodium salt of benzoic acid, which has the effect of preventing deterioration and acid and prolonging shelf life. A small amount of sodium benzoate is not toxic to the human body, but there are surveys showing that the excessive consumption of benzoic acid and its salts in the human body will cause metabolic dysfunction of the liver, increased blood pressure in the human body, abnormal heart and kidney function, and even cause muscle acidosis, fainting and asthma and other diseases, so its application scope is shrinking day by day, and some countries such as Japan have stopped producing sodium benzoate and restricted its use. According to the "National Standard for Food Safety" (GB 2760-2014) stipulates that benzoic acid shall not be used in tofu. The reason for the detection of benzoic acid may be related to the producer's lack of understanding of the relevant national food safety standards and laws and regulations, resulting in the use of food additives beyond the scope.

XIII. Coliform bacteria

Coliform is not a bacteriological taxonomic nomenclature, but a term used in the field of hygienic bacteria, which does not represent a particular or a genus of bacteria, but refers to a group of bacteria with certain characteristics associated with fecal contamination. Coliform flora is directly or indirectly from the feces of humans and warm-blooded animals, feces is human intestinal excrement, including healthy human feces, but also intestinal patients or bacteria of the stool, so the number of coliform bacteria, indicating the degree of fecal pollution, but also reflects the size of the harm to human health. The National Standard for Food Safety Disinfectant Meal (Drink) Utensils (GB 14934-2016) stipulates that coliform bacteria shall not be detected in catering utensils. The reason for the detection of coliform bacteria in the reusable catering utensils is that the personal hygiene or environmental hygiene control of the restaurant is improper, and the second is that the catering utensils are not thoroughly disinfected.
