According to the early revelations of foreign car owners, this year's Christmas update will be a super gift package, because compared with previous years, this year's update is obviously full of sincerity, and it is definitely the richest content in the past years.

Light show
The "Christmas Dance" Easter egg, which is unique to the original Model X model, is now available to all Tesla models (except the Roadster). This Easter egg will perform a coordinated light show using your vehicle's daytime running lights, low beams, high beams, fog lights, turn signals, mirrors and external speakers.
Currently, the Model X model uses tracks for Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Wizard in Winter, and it's uncertain whether the 2021 Easter egg will play the same song, or allow custom songs.

New UI interface
The new generation of UI interface used on the 2021 Model S/X will be applied to the current Model 3/Y, but it should be noted that the current ported new UI is not exactly the same as the 2021 Model S/X, and there are no functions such as automatic shifting, window docking, and mini music player.
As you can see, the bottom of the new UI screen is divided into three areas, namely the fixed button area, the custom button area, and the last used button area. At the same time, a new quick control bar has been added, which is somewhat similar to the control center of the mobile phone.
Customizable app launcher
Although it is a partial port, it brings one of the most functional features of the new UI, a customizable app launcher. This feature allows you to customize the Tesla App at the bottom of the screen, such as a web browser, real-time energy consumption graphs, calendars, etc., similar to the computer's dock bar.
Simplify control
Under the new UI interface, the on-screen display is designed to focus on navigation, media, and some basic controls. Previous controls such as charging, odometers, and wipers have been removed. To use these features, follow these steps
- For information about the wiper with status bar, please click "Control"
- For charging control, please click on "Control > Charging"
- For journey and odometer information, please click on "Control > Journey"
- For tire pressure information, please click on "Control > Service"
Note: The wiper control bar can still be activated by the physical button on the lever on the left side of the steering wheel.
Blind zone camera

Edit the route point
Tesla added the navigation route point function in the 2021.40.6 update, but when adding the route point, you must add the route point in turn from the final destination, so you cannot reorder it. Navigation routes will now be more flexible with this update, and you can add, delete, or reorder route points.

Automatic seat heating
Tesla is simplifying the control mode of seat heating, turning the seat heating button into a single on-off button instead of having four different settings (off, 1st, 2nd, 3rd).
