On December 21, the reporter learned from RELX Yueke (Fog Core Technology) that recently, the police in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, with its assistance, successfully cracked a case suspected of selling counterfeit "Yueke" electronic cigarettes, involving a value of more than 800,000 yuan.
On December 9, after preliminary investigation and judgment, the Food and Drug Ring Investigation Detachment of the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Public Security Department of the Futian Branch and the Huaqiang North Police Station of the Futian Branch launched a unified operation to crack down on the four outlets of "Nijia Electronics" involved in the case. In the store of "Nijia Electronics" in an electronic accessories market in Huaqiang North, Shenzhen, the police seized a large number of counterfeit "Yueke" electronic cigarette products, and arrested 5 criminal suspects such as Shen Mou, the person in charge of the store. In this operation, a total of 910 sets of counterfeit "Yueke" electronic cigarette sets and 6,090 boxes of cigarette bombs were seized in the shops and warehouses of Nijia Electronics. In addition to selling in stores, the counterfeiting gang also conducts micro-business sales through online platforms such as WeChat.

It is understood that "Nijia Electronics" and the counterfeiting gang were administratively punished for selling counterfeit e-cigarette products before they were seized by the police. However, the gang did not close in time, but continued to sell counterfeits in a more covert way, and adopted means such as replacing store signs and switching to online micro-business sales, which greatly increased the difficulty of law enforcement. After receiving the report, the relevant law enforcement departments repeatedly explored and arranged controls, and finally successfully destroyed the fake den in this operation.
The person in charge of the Yueke Golden Shield Operation said that in the past work, they found that the products sold by these fake dens often came from the "three noes" small workshops, and then sold through some offline fake outlets and micro-businesses to "low prices" and "cheap" as selling points.
"Counterfeiters in small workshops do not wear gloves and masks during operation, and disinfection, dust prevention, and epidemic prevention measures are even more impossible to talk about." The person in charge said that the production environment of these small workshops is harsh, there is no quality testing equipment, random addition, product formaldehyde, benzene and other carcinogens seriously exceed the standard, there are also major safety hazards such as battery explosions, which seriously threaten the safety of consumers.
In recent years, some shoddy and worrying quality counterfeit products have seriously affected the order of the e-cigarette market and the safety of consumers' lives. Since 2019, Yueke has launched the Golden Shield Operation, aiming to assist relevant law enforcement departments in cracking down on counterfeiting dens and channels for selling counterfeits, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. As of December 2021, the operation has launched 46 criminal cases, 6 civil cases and 52 administrative cases, involving a total amount of more than 83 million yuan.
