According to US media reports, the Fremont police issued a statement on December 14 saying that the murder occurred on the afternoon of the 13th, and the police received a report and rushed to the scene to learn that the victim had just completed his shift and was killed in the parking lot when he was preparing to leave. Hours later, police locked up another employee at the factory who had an argument with the victim earlier in the day and then abruptly left his post.
At present, the police have arrested the suspect. The suspect, 29, named Anthony Solima, was found in his car with an unlicensed firearm suspected to be involved. The specific identity of the victim has not been released, and the police asked people familiar with the matter to provide more relevant information.
The Fremont plant, the only Tesla car assembly plant in the United States, has more than 10,000 employees on its website. Local media contacted Tesla, but could not find the person in charge to comment, and Tesla did not disclose the case or explain it on social media.
