Many of the famous anti-Japanese generals in China were born noble and grew up in rich families, such as Zhang Xueliang. Today we are also talking about an anti-Japanese general from a family of squires, his name is Fan Shaozeng. He was a well-known anti-Japanese hero, and married more than 40 wives in his lifetime, including one female Olympic athlete. Fan Shaozeng was born in 1894 into a family of squires and began his education from an early age. After graduation, he joined the revolution and participated in the Yuan Uprising, and later Fan Shaozeng was recruited by the Sichuan warlord Yang Sen to become the commander of his subordinate battalion, and soon after he became a division commander under Liu Xiang. He seems to be humble, but in fact he is wise and foolish, and he fights bravely and tenaciously and recklessly, so he is named "Master Hal".
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Fan Shaozeng took the initiative to go to the Battlefield of Shanghai and participated in the Battle of Songhu. Later, Fan Shaozeng and his troops killed Lieutenant General Sakai, the commander of the Japanese 15th Division, and the commander of the Sakai Division was killed. This caused a great shock in the Japanese army, because in the history of the Japanese Army, the death of a serving division commander was the first since the founding of the Japanese Army. Therefore, Fan Shaozeng won the title of anti-Japanese hero and received a lot of praise.
Fan Shaozeng was a warrior, but his Yanfu was not shallow, and he married more than 40 wives in his lifetime. Among these wives, the most famous is a woman named Yang Xiuqiong. Yang Xiuqiong, a native of Dongguan, Guangdong Province, held the Hong Kong Swimming Competition in Hong Kong in 1930, and yang Xiuqiong, who was only 12 years old, won the 50m and 100m freestyle championships in one fell swoop. The following year she competed in the Hong Kong-Kowloon Sea Crossing Competition, where she won the championship again.
At the Fifth National Games, Yang Xiuqiong won all the gold medals in women's swimming, and the elegant number of "Mermaid" did not go away. Chiang Kai-shek's wife, Soong Mei-ling, who was watching, was full of praise for this and recognized her as a daughter. Yang Xiuqiong also won the swimming championship at the Far East Games, and she also participated in the 1936 German Olympic Games as China's number one athlete. Later, Yang Xiuqiong married Tao Boling, the "first jockey of the Northern Kingdom", but soon after she was only 19 years old, she was forced to become Fan Shaozeng's 18th aunt. In the end, Yang Xiuqiong experienced all the vicissitudes and felt that the world was cold, and soon chose to cross the ocean and live in Vancouver, Canada, until his death in 1982.
