According to the National Health Commission, at 0-24:00 on December 20, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 81 new confirmed cases. Among them, there were 24 imported cases (5 cases in Shanghai, 5 cases in Fujian, 4 cases in Guangdong, 3 cases in Zhejiang, 3 cases in Guangxi, 1 case in Beijing, 1 case in Tianjin, 1 case in Sichuan, and 1 case in Shaanxi), including 1 case from an asymptomatic infected person to a confirmed case (in Sichuan); 57 local cases (43 cases in Shaanxi, including 42 cases in Xi'an City and 1 case in Xianyang City; 8 cases in Zhejiang, all in Shaoxing City; 6 cases in Guangdong, all in Dongguan City), including 8 cases from asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (all in Shaanxi). There were no new deaths. There were no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 49 new cured and discharged cases were cured, 2206 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the previous day.

There are 632 confirmed cases imported from overseas (including 4 severe cases) and 1 suspected case. The cumulative number of confirmed cases is 10,712, the cumulative number of cured and discharged cases is 10,080, and there are no deaths.

As of 24:00 on December 20, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1,768 confirmed cases (including 5 severe cases), 94,063 cured and discharged cases, 4,636 cumulative deaths, 100467 confirmed cases and 1 suspected case. A total of 1389524 close contacts have been traced, and 52,463 close contacts are still under medical observation.

31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 19 new cases of asymptomatic infection, including 18 cases imported from abroad and 1 case from home (in Heihe City, Heilongjiang); 9 cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (1 case imported from abroad); 16 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (15 cases imported from abroad); and 505 asymptomatic infected people were still under medical observation (465 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 29,426 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 12,533 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (12,184 cases discharged from hospital, 213 deaths), 77 cases in Macao Special Administrative Region (77 cases discharged from hospital), and 16,816 cases in Taiwan Region (13,742 cases discharged from hospital, 850 deaths).

There are no new indigenous cases in Beijing

From 0:00 to 24:00 on December 20, there were no new locally confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infected persons in Beijing; there was one new imported confirmed case, no new suspected cases and asymptomatic infected people. Cured and discharged 1 case.

Confirmed case: Chinese nationality, departed from Austria on December 19 to Beijing Capital Airport, after health screening and nucleic acid testing, the customs was sent to the centralized isolation point through closed-loop management, the nucleic acid test result was reported positive on the same day, transferred to the designated hospital, comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests and other results, diagnosed as a confirmed case on December 20, the clinical classification was ordinary type.

Epidemiological investigations have been carried out on confirmed cases and control measures have been implemented as required.

A case of COVID-19-positive infection was found in Dongxing, Guangxi

According to the Dongxing Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, on the evening of December 20, Dongxing City found a positive case of new crown pneumonia infection in a routine nucleic acid test. At present, the positive infected person has been isolated and treated, and the epidemic prevention work such as epidemiological investigation, relevant personnel investigation, sampling and testing, regional control and isolation control has been organized and carried out at the first time.
