The first thing is to find a child bride for their son who is only ten years old, in the countryside around Jiangxi, the bad habit of marrying a child bride to a child is still relatively common, the reason is that the society at that time was very poor and backward, the life of the people was very low, many people could not afford to marry a daughter-in-law because of their poor family, in order to solve this problem, they ran to the field to raise a girl to be a child bridesmaid, and when they grew up to be fourteen or five years old, they let her "round the house" with her son. The second thing was to send his son to Jinggangshan, not far from his hometown, and entrusted him to his uncle, who had already become a Red Army.

Yi Yaocai, who became a soldier in the Red Army, rarely had time to take care of his family, and Zhang Feng'e stayed at home to honor his parents. Yi Yaocai, who devoted himself to revolutionary work, also made rapid progress in the army, successively serving as a soldier and squad leader of the special agent company of the Independent Regiment of Wantai County, Jiangxi Province, and a young officer of the Political Office of the 15th Regiment of the Independent 5th Division of the Red Army. In February 1933, Yi Yaocai was appointed as an instructor of a company of the 8th Red Army, and from August onwards, he was reappointed as a youth officer and organization officer of the 6th Regiment. Yi Yaocai, who had experienced successive anti-"encirclement and suppression" operations, quickly grew into a middle-level commander of the Red Army, and in the autumn of 1934, he and his troops did not have time to bid farewell to their families and left the base area to participate in the Long March, and because of the urgency of the war, he lost contact with his family.
It was not until during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression that Yi Yaocai, who had grown into a famous anti-Japanese general, learned that after he followed the main force of the Red Army on the Long March, the Kuomintang reactionaries made a comeback, and at that time, in order to completely eradicate the "bandit plague," they clamored that "stones have passed the knife, thatch has overheated, and people must change their species." In particular, the "bandits" were even more frenziedly slaughtered, and those "returning groups" who had been punished by the Red Army were even more evil, and for a time the red-hot revolutionary base areas were full of blood and rain, and the corpses were all over the field. On the day when the curtain was low and the rain and snow were falling, because the enemy stepped up "clearance and suppression," the parents and family members of the Red Army, who had been the dual identities of the Red Guards' red army families, were captured by the enemy, nailed to the door panel, and sank alive into the Ganjiang River, and from then on he thought that there was no longer a relative in his hometown.
Whenever he thinks of this past and the sacrifice of his parents, at this time, Yi Yaocai looks at his parents' graves, he can't help himself, he feels that his parents have transformed into mountains and peaks, into the guardian gods of the mountains, into the long flowing water of the mighty Ganjiang River, his father is with the heavens and the earth, with the sun and the moon, and with the rivers and rivers. The general shouted at the high mountain peaks and the crooked Ganjiang River: Father, mother——。 There was no sound, and the general's call echoed for a long time in the mountain wilderness.
At this moment, from a hillside not far away, a middle-aged woman came and looked at the sacrifice she was carrying, and it seemed that she had also come here to go to the grave. Yi Yaocai was quite surprised: Obviously, my family did not have any relatives. Why would anyone come to the grave of their parents? When he took a closer look, he realized that it was the year he was 10 years old, and the adoptive daughter-in-law named Zhang Feng'e that his parents had married for him.
It turned out that in that year, Yi Yaocai's parents were captured by the enemy, Zhang Feng'e was also arrested, and when she was about to be killed, some villagers came forward to vouch that they were their daughters, and their parents were killed, Zhang Feng'e escaped the disaster, and handled the funeral for Yi Yaocai's parents. Since then, this infatuated woman, holding the person who was born to be the Yi family, and the death is the ghost of the Yi family from one end to the end, although her husband is missing, she has been waiting for him at home, from the time of the girlhood has been insisting, and now finally waiting for Yi Yaocai to return.
However, after 20 years of military career, he returned to his hometown to meet the old people, waiting for nothing to repay, accompanied by good people and a group of children, and could not be accompanied by this life. When Yi Yaocai's wife, Fan Jingyang, learned of this, they were all ashamed. She proposed to her husband that Zhang Feng'e has been living alone, without children and husbands, without financial resources, only herself alone during the New Year's Festival, and lack of companionship in spirit, first of all, she must first find a stable job for Zhang Feng'e in the local area, so that she can have a stable source of life, so that she can also be stable.
Yi Yaocai specially ran to the local township government civil affairs department and won her a martyr's subsidy, which made her poor years of life improve.
