A few days ago, 8 two-way charging stations in the four expressway service areas of Taishi, Yongdeng, Wuwei and Baiyin East in our province were officially completed and put into operation, which will effectively solve the problem of high-speed charging of new energy vehicles and further promote the construction of electric vehicle charging networks in the highway service areas of our province.
The charging stations put into production all use 120KW DC charging piles (one pile and two guns), which realize high-power fast charging, and can provide charging services for 4 electric vehicles at the same time, according to the battery capacity of mainstream new energy vehicles in the current market, 80% can be charged in 30 minutes.
At the same time, the highway service area with charging stations is guided by obvious signs, and electric vehicle drivers and occupants can charge according to the operation instructions and complete the payment by scanning codes and recharging cards.
Up to now, the province's expressway service area has built and put into operation a total of 7 service areas of Taishi, Yongdeng, Wuwei, Baiyindong, Pingliang, Jingchuan, Qinzhou two-way electric vehicle charging stations; Lanzhou North, Dingxi, Mandarin Duck, Yangdian, Zhangye 5 service area one-way charging stations. The expressway service department of our province will strive to fully cover the charging infrastructure of the expressway service area under its jurisdiction by the end of 2025 to meet the needs of green travel.
