Wittgenstein

Ludwig Wittgenstein was born on 26 April 1889 in Vienna, Austria, and died in Cambridgeshire, England, at the age of 62.

Wittgenstein was one of the most influential philosophers of the 20th century, whose research areas were mainly in the fields of mathematical philosophy, spiritual philosophy and philosophy of language, and once studied under the famous British writer and philosopher Russell.

Wittgenstein taught at Cambridge University from 1939 to 1947. He published few works during his lifetime, only a 75-page Treatise on the Philosophy of Logic (1921).
