Red Butler
Born in the winter of 1900, Yang Lisan was a native of Hunan, and from an early age Yang Lisan was a teenager who was both literate and martial, and when he grew up, he defected to the Xiang Army. Yang Lisan joined the army not to promote his ranks and get rich, but to serve the motherland, he insisted on propagating revolutionary ideas in the army and his hometown, and was once appreciated by Sun Yat-sen, the father of the country, but he always felt that the National Revolutionary Army could not achieve a thorough revolution.
When Yang Lisan was looking around for a way to save the country, he inadvertently got to know some people in our party, and his advanced thinking made Yang Lisan feel moved. At that time, he felt that he had found a like-minded person, so he came to the ranks of the Red Army, participated in the Autumn Harvest Uprising, and has been working in the base area ever since.
Some people refer to Yang Lisan as the "Great Red Butler" because Yang Lisan has long been in charge of the logistics work of our army. The revolutionary contingent is not rich in all kinds of materials, and without Yang Lisan, a great housekeeper who covers all aspects, I am afraid that the contingent at the front line will not be able to sustain itself.
Later, this logistics minister accompanied the Red Army to participate in the Long March, who knew that halfway to the road Premier Zhou fell ill, at that time the whole army was struggling to cross the meadow, Premier Zhou's illness suddenly became a bit troublesome. After Yang Lisan learned of this incident, he immediately decided to send fighters from the logistics unit to carry Premier Zhou out of the meadow, because there were not enough manpower, he asked the soldiers to temporarily give up some weapons and save people first.
Yang Lisan was well aware that Premier Zhou's role in the organization was better than those weapons, and in order to save manpower, Yang Lisan personally helped carry the stretcher. On the way, Yang Lisan has been keeping a close eye on the premier's physical condition, a heart clenched tightly, after six days and six nights of trekking, the stretcher was finally carried out of the muddy grass, Yang Lisan's shoulders were swollen because of the stretcher, and premier Zhou was settled, and he fell ill.
Later, Premier Zhou always remembered this matter, and at Yang Lisan's funeral last week, the premier also said that although everyone was an atheist, he still hoped that Yang Lisan under the Nine Springs would know and know that he had come to give him a ride. This is the camaraderie forged in difficult times, and it is an inseparable feeling.
Logistical support
At that time, Yang Lisan had to worry about the food, clothing, shelter and transportation of the entire Red Army, the military expenditure of the troops was so much, and it was also necessary to closely meet the needs of wartime, yang Lisan, the housekeeper, was also worried in order to let everyone live as worry-free as possible. When the Red Army was making new uniforms, Yang Lisan repeatedly calculated with the ledger that gray cloth was more expensive than white cloth, and if you bought gray cloth according to the uniform of one person in the whole army, the money must be overspended.
In order to make all the soldiers wear new military uniforms, Yang Lisan ran to the market with several soldiers from the logistics department to bargain, bought back a pile of white cloth, and then bought gray dye. Then the whole logistics department began to get busy, coloring these white cloths, which saved a lot of money than buying gray cloth directly, and finally made all the soldiers wear new uniforms. In order to meet the needs of the whole army, Yang Lisan really thought of all the ways to save money.
Later, when the Red Army crossed the Yellow River, it encountered difficulties again, and in order to stop the Red Army, the enemy threatened the local people to sink all the boats half a month ago. This place is the crossing of the Yellow River, the water is turbulent, and it is not very realistic to find someone to go down the river to salvage. Naturally, the matter of finding a ship fell to Yang Lisan, the logistics minister. After Yang Lisan received the order, he ran to his hometown to inquire, he was very curious, half a month ago the ship sank, then how did the local people come back and forth in this half a month?
An inquiry, it turns out that the locals have a clever trick - to cross the river with a sheepskin raft, the so-called sheepskin raft is to tie up the sheepskin, blow on the air, several air bags tied to a raft, although there is no boat stable, but crossing the river is not a problem, the most critical thing the cost of the sheepskin raft is cheaper than the boat. Yang Lisan was very happy when he found out, and hurried everywhere to search for sheepskins, and finally put together more than a hundred sheepskin rafts and sent the soldiers to the other side smoothly.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance, life became more difficult. Because the Nationalist government's finances were in chaos, senior executives and wealthy businessmen colluded with each other, prices in the market soared, and the military salaries promised by Chiang Kai-shek dragged on for several months. In order to let the soldiers get money on a regular basis, Yang Lisan was eager to run to Lao Jiang's side eight times a day, in short, to grind out the money. If one person is not good enough, he will pull the old Huangpu people like The Premier of Zhou Zhou to go with him, and not look at the monk's face to see the Buddha's face, in short, no matter how difficult the logistics side is, the soldiers and soldiers on the front line have not once been in arrears.
A lifetime for the country
Later, Yang Lisan felt that relying solely on the financial department of old Jiang was unreliable, and the key was to open source it himself. So he organized the army in the rear and began to vigorously carry out production and construction, and also promised that all soldiers and civilians, as long as they participated in production, would receive corresponding remuneration. Not only can they support the front line, they still have remuneration to get, the military and civilians in the rear are scrambling to participate in labor, and finally the salaries of the front line can basically be funded by the rear. Not only that, Yang Lisan also set up a factory in the rear, which was able to produce basic weapons for the front line, which was simply a long drought for the Eighth Route Army at that time.
The history books say that the Battle of Huaihai was pushed out by the masses of the people with small carts, and the person who organized so many "small carts" was Yang Lisan, and since the Liberation War, Yang Lisan has transported materials to the front line through various channels, although it is only "millet plus rifles", but these things are all the best things that can be raised at that time.
In yang Lisan's more than three years of military career, in fact, he rarely directly participated in battles, and compared with many founding generals, his popularity was not very high. But if there was no such capable logistician in the army at that time, why did a group of soldiers without guns and food insist on fighting the enemy for a long time? Although he was not a general, he was also a man who had made great contributions to the revolution, and because of this, many people would call Yang Lisan a general.
In fact, Yang Lisan had never been a general in his life, because he was not in charge of military operations, and after liberation, he also served as the minister of logistics department, so he was not awarded a title. But the founding of the country is not determined by military rank alone. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, this big red butler still worked hard for the food, clothing, shelter and transportation of the people of the whole country, and finally exhausted his body and died early, making everyone feel regret and sorrow.
