Wang Shusheng is one of the top ten founding generals, ranking ninth among the top ten generals. What kind of person is Wang Shusheng? Why did he become a general? Today, I would like to introduce Wang Shusheng's three nicknames, which reflect his personality and tell us why Wang Shusheng became a great general.
The first nickname, Bandage.
There are two meanings, Wang Shusheng was born in Macheng, Hubei Province, and everyone calls him Mazi, which may be related to the place of origin. Of course, what is more important is that Wang Shusheng has a lot of wine thorns on his face, and now when we look at his photos, we can clearly see that intuitively, everyone calls him Mazi.
Especially when the great battle was imminent, and Wang Shusheng lowered his heart and prepared to charge into the battle, the hemp on his face was red, which was particularly eye-catching. Therefore, the numbness on his face also became a signal that Wang Shusheng was preparing for a big battle. Over time, everyone called him "Bandage" and "Brother Mazi".

The second nickname, the regimental head embryo.
It comes from a story from an early years. At that time, when the warlord Wu Peifu was ruling Hubei, a regimental commander came from Macheng, Hubei Province, and officials of Macheng County went to greet him, and the scene was very solemn, and Wang Shusheng, who was still a student, was also in the crowd of people who were welcomed by the middle of the road.
After returning to school, everyone loved to be funny, and Wang Shusheng was no exception, he dressed up as the leader of the warlord regiment, swinging wildly, on his toes, and making his classmates laugh. Someone gave him the nickname "RegimentAlpine". This guy may be able to become the leader of the regiment in the future.
Later history we all know, after Wang Shusheng joined the revolution, he quickly became one of the earliest regimental commanders of the Red Fourth Front. With his military achievements, he became a division commander, a military commander, and even the deputy commander-in-chief of the Red Fourth Front. A small prank allows us to see the innate shadow of the general on Wang Shusheng.

The third nickname, Tiger General.
The reason why Wang Shusheng was able to become a general of the Republic was because he had outstanding military achievements, where did the battle achievements come from? Fight on the battlefield. Many of the officers and men of the Red Fourth Front, who came from poor families, did not go to school much, nor did they study military affairs, so why did they become founding generals? It was all fought the battlefield.
Wang Shusheng is one of the most typical representatives. It was in 1927, before the Jute Uprising, when Wang Shusheng led the Macheng Peasant Self-Defense Force to attack a copycat of the reactionary armed forces.
When the battle was fierce, I saw Wang Shusheng throw off his shirt, hold a large knife, and shout, Kill! Rush to the front of the line. The enemy had long been frightened, the Peasants' Self-Defense Forces had won the victory, captured a lot of guns and ammunition, and Wang Shusheng also had guns.

However, when the battle began, Wang Shusheng still couldn't leave the big knife. After the jute uprising, the Red Army attacked a reactionary vigilante group, and after several fights without being able to fight down, Wang Shusheng came up in anger, took off his shirt, took a knife in his right hand, and a gun in his left hand, shouting, Follow me!
In many subsequent battles, this was the standard image of Wang Shusheng. There is really no courage. Wang Shusheng was a blessed general, but he also had times when he was injured. In 1931, Wang Shusheng, who had become the commander of the division, once again charged forward, and when the battle was over, everyone could not find the division commander, and the political commissar pulled out Wang Shusheng in the pile of dead people, and he killed a bloody man on his body, and the bullet almost hit the heart.
Speaking of the fierce generals of the Red Fourth Front, everyone often respects the later Chen Zaidao and Xu Shiyou, in fact, Wang Shusheng was their teacher, it was Wang Shusheng who first pioneered the tactics of slaying the enemy with a large knife, and he was the first tiger general of the Red Fourth Front. Otherwise, Wang Shusheng was a general, and Chen Zaidao and Xu Shiyou were both the founding generals.
