As one of the victims, survivor Wei Shaolan once participated in the comfort women-themed films "Twenty-Two" and "Thirty-Two". She didn't wait for an apology in her lifetime. The son of the Japanese army she had no choice but to give birth to also went to Japan as a Chinese to seek justice for her, but she did not succeed. We hope that in the future this apology will be addressed at the old man's grave.
In July 1920, in Xinping Town, Lipu County, Guilin, Guangxi, a cute little girl came to the world, and her parents named her Wei Shaolan. Although China was already in a chaotic situation of warlord chaos at that time, this did not affect Wei Shaolan's safe and healthy growth. She grew up peacefully with many ordinary girls and married and had children.

But life still has to go on, for this heart-wrenching experience, Wei Shaolan can only lick the wound alone in the dead of night.
Unfortunate things happened one after another, and before Wei Shaolan could rejoice for the rest of her life, her daughter died of malnutrition due to malnutrition during her detention and died not long after her return. In Wei Shaolan's grief, fate seemed to make her pregnant with a Japanese child as if in a joke.
Out of respect for life, Wei Shaolan finally asked her husband to forgive after several quarrels. 10 months later, she gave birth to the child in tears. After the boy was born, he took the surname of Wei Shaolanfu and named him Luo Shanxue, hoping that he would learn goodness throughout his life.
When Luo Shan grew up, he was also ashamed and resentful after learning of his own life. He even questioned why Wei Shaolan gave birth to him, who was full of sins. As he grew older, he began to reconcile with himself and gradually accept himself, but he was never able to let go of his life. Even though half of the Japanese blood flowed through his body, he always remembered that he was Chinese.
In 2010, Luo Shanxue went to Japan with a lifelong grudge, hoping to get justice for his mother, but the right-wing government in power only shirked its responsibility and did not respond positively, and Luo Shanxue could only regret returning to China.
Time slowly passes, and the misfortunes and disasters of the past are gradually moving away, and they will eventually be slowly buried in the long river of history. But for comfort women who had the same experience as Wessauland, the pain was never alleviated by the passage of time.
