Recently, the World Taekwondo Federation announced a series of re-appointments to the World Taekwondo Federation Committee for 2021-2023, and the first female referee committee chair of the World Taekwondo Federation appeared in the updated list.
Amely MORAS from the United States has extensive referee experience, including the Tokyo Olympics. Not only was she the first woman to chair the Referee Committee of the World Tayady League, but at just 35 years old, she was the youngest of them all.

Women represent 34 per cent of the committee's total staff. Of these, five committees are chaired by women – the Membership and Development Committee, the Adjudication Committee, the Judiciary Committee, the Disability Taekwondo Grading Committee and the Popular Taekwondo Committee.
The chairmen of the committees will play an important role in advancing the development of taekwondo and provide the best possible industry environment for athletes and all stakeholders.
