The art | "Southwest Music and Painting" to spread the symphonic picture of southwest style

On the evening of December 16, the China Symphony Orchestra brought the symphonic choral concert "Southwest Music and Painting" to music fans across the country at the Beijing Concert Hall. It extracts the traditional folk music, folk songs and original ecological music elements of the three provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Southwest Sichuan, and the orchestral music "Southwest Suite" and the Southwest Music Painting "Singing Yun Guichuan" present a grand southwest music feast to the audience.

The orchestral "Southwest Suite" consists of three orchestral pieces and the orchestral suite "Five Colors of Yunnan". "Five Colors of Yunnan" is composed of music materials from ethnic minorities in Yunnan, and strives to have different styles, colors and moods, both with a unified temperament and structural arrangement, as well as strong contrasts. It shows the national characteristics of Yunnan with brilliant colors and distinct personality and the optimistic and open-minded spirit.

As an intangible cultural heritage, "Sichuan Qingyin" is a form of music and rap that the sons and daughters of Bashu like to hear. In the southwest music painting "Singing Yun Guichuan", the symphonic chorus "Sichuan Qingyin Caprice" fully combines the strong local style rap art with the grand and strict symphonic chorus.

The song selects three more lively and easy-to-understand clear-tone segments: "Cuckoos Cooing", "Picking Begonias" and "June 6" as the material for the symphony. And concentrated on the more typical folk techniques in the oratorio singing method: "haha cavity", "playing tongue sound" and "speaking white through the mouth". The singing did not stick to the original stage presentation form of "clear tone" one person, one drum and one sandalwood, and played the various possibilities of the symphonic chorus lead, chorus, round singing, and mixed chorus, and took into account the appropriate play of the symphony orchestra.

In terms of composition structure, it does not stick to the folk methods such as the concatenation of music cards, but appears many times with "Cuckoo's Gollum" and its instrumental and vocal variations; the other two form a melody-like structure as the contrasting part in the middle; coupled with the introduction of bright spring light and the end of the song praising the good life, the overall music is full of flavor.

As the original work of the China Symphony Orchestra, this concert fully demonstrated the theme of "Celebrating the Comprehensive Construction of a Well-off Society", and presented a symphonic picture with great southwest customs and national characteristics to the audience.
