Highlight moments| mountains and waters, wind and wind and valleys vibrate the forest

"People idle osmanthus flowers fall, and the night is quiet in the spring mountains." "A thousand mountain birds fly to extinction, and ten thousand people disappear." Poets throughout the ages have loved to be attached to the landscape, but who wouldn't want to be attached to nature? Vibrant, purple and red, poetic and snowy nature is like a beautiful song, with beautiful melodies and lyrical lyrics, and only by being immersed can you feel its meaning. Today, Xiaobian sorted out the series of "Symphonic Works of Natural Scenery and Folk Life" (2), taking everyone into nature, listening to the sounds of nature, and feeling the unique charm of local customs and customs.

1. "Northern Forest"

Composer: Zhang Qianyi (completed February 1981)

Conductor: Peng Jiapeng Performer: Suzhou National Orchestra

The orchestral song "Northern Forest" premiered in Beijing in April 1981. The music is based on the folk songs of the OrunChun people living in Daxing'anling, and through the process of moonlit night, morning sun, noon, sunset and return to the moon night, the music shows the variety of the great forest and the charm of the laborers in the forest area.

The composer has the following explanation of the content of the music: the forest sea is vast, the night wind floats, like a calm lake, flooding with shallow waves. Dawn gradually rises, and Dawn walks in with a golden crown. The forest woke up. The beautiful singing attracts people who love life and walks to the depths of the forest. Gradually, linhai gallery unfolded in front of us, it was solemn, solemn, magical, and unpredictable. The animals also add color to nature. In the afternoon, the forest is slightly drunk, reveling in the arms of the mountains and proud of the beauty of nature. Then the sunset gradually appeared, and the golden sunset was so gorgeous and intimate. The sunset gradually faded, and the people who had worked for a day sang mountain songs and went down the mountain. The forest is once again hidden in the vast moonlit night.

In order to write this work, the composer experienced life in the northeast for nearly 2 months, collected a lot of folk song materials, and spent more than half a year composing this song. Music basically borrows from traditional European composition techniques, and in some places has also appropriately absorbed modern techniques such as simple tonal superposition and ditonic scales. Lyricism, modeling and symphony are important features of this work and its success. "Northern Forest" won the Excellence Award in the first National Music Works (Symphonic Music) Awards in 1981. The composer was only 22 years old at the time, and through this song, it became a blockbuster.

2. "Lhasa Trip"

Composer: Kwan Nai-chung

Guan Naizhong's orchestral suite "Lhasa Xing" is adapted from his 1985 Chinese music suite "Lhasa Xing". In this suite, the composer did not use a large number of Tibetan folk song materials, did not make some superficial and musical style-like pursuits of the imitation of folk music in Tibet, but through four movements, made a vivid, vivid and touching depiction of religious beliefs, folk culture and natural features in Tibetan areas, showing a transcendent charm.

The first movement, "Potala Palace", depicts the Tibetan people's reverence for the gods, and renders the cold tones, mysterious atmosphere and changes in light of the Potala Palace in detail.

The second movement, "Brahmaputra River", adopts the techniques of the 19th century folk music school, drawing a picture of warm tones, and the gentle and emotional melody of the whole movement makes people feel the strong spring atmosphere of the plateau.

The third movement, "Heavenly Burial", adopts a modernist approach, is a genre painting with the characteristics of a snowy plateau, which shows a strange heavenly burial scene and the Tibetan people's concept of reincarnation of life and death.

The fourth movement, "Fighting Ghosts", vividly depicts the bustling crowds and enthusiastic mass dance scenes that rush to participate in the ghost fighting ceremony, showing the composer's skillful use of the color of the band.

This suite embodies a raw and rough and somewhat wild beauty, which forces people to hold their breath to appreciate the masculine charm of music. This work has made a successful attempt to write about God in the form of musical art.

3. "The Mountain of Sorrows"

Composer: Guo Wenjing

"Sorrowful Empty Mountain" is Guo Wenjing's first large-scale folk music work. In November 1991, the Youth Chinese Orchestra of the Central Conservatory of Music, conducted by Wang Fujin, premiered at the Beijing Concert Hall, with Dai Ya soloist, which was a great success.

The whole song consists of three movements, using qu flute, flute and flute to create three different artistic conceptions, showing the interpretation of traditional Chinese music on "time" to "quiet" and "moving", and finally presenting the majesty, sinister and heavy mountains with the majesty of the band.

Performed by: Wang Fujian, Wang Junkan Zhejiang Chinese Orchestra

The first movement, closely following a "melancholy" word in a silent and sad atmosphere, describes the artistic conception of "the ancient wood of the sad bird, the sub-rule cries the night moon". The music is like being surrounded by rolling peaks, hazy and beautiful.

In the second movement, the music has the color of "Han Chinese" in the mountains of southwest China. The melodiousness of the first movement is changed to a flickering jump, and then embellished with the band's elastic plucking, the dappled shadows of the trees under the sun, the colorful streams, and the blooming machine of all things jump in front of you. This movement is extremely dexterous to the flute, and it also shows the composer's creative spirit.

In the third movement, the composer summarized and described it with sentences such as "One husband and one husband, one husband and one man, no one can open, towards avoiding the tiger, avoiding the long snake, grinding teeth and sucking blood, killing people like hemp" and other sentences, and the large-scale band prelude was full of passion, so that the face of the "mountain" was finally clearly presented in front of the eyes.

"Sorrowful Empty Mountain" has changed the character image of the Chinese flute tradition with its shocking tragic power and dramatic color, and the traditional bamboo flute playing skills and expression ability in the music have been greatly expanded, and it is a very difficult concerto. In 2013, it was rated as "Top Ten Classic National Orchestras (Concertos)" by the China National Orchestra Association.
