Jiwei Network News, on December 17, the first Dishui Lake China RISC-V Industry Forum was held in Shanghai Lingang. At the meeting, Zhang Lai, vice president of Chengdu Qi Ying Tailun Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the end-side intelligent voice dedicated AI chip CI1122.
Founded in November 2015 in Chengdu High-tech Zone, Qiying Tailun is a national high-tech enterprise focusing on artificial intelligence voice chips and providing supporting application solutions, and is the first full-technology chain enterprise in the industry to master artificial intelligence speech algorithms, chip design, voice data processing and training engines, software and hardware product application solutions, which can provide users with one-stop Turnkey services.
Since its inception, the company has launched 5 end-side AI intelligent voice chips for mass production applications, covering major domestic home appliance manufacturers and many well-known solution providers across the country. At present, the company has applied for more than 100 related intellectual property rights, which is the leading level in the fields of integrated circuit design technology, local speech recognition technology, speech noise reduction processing technology and so on.
Zhang Lai said that the end-side intelligent voice cannot completely rely on the network alone, and it needs a dedicated voice chip for deep neural networks. As a natural wireless signal, voice is gradually replacing the functions of buttons and touch screens, but all this is based on the establishment of a sufficiently certain "psychological contract" between users and devices.
Zhang Lai said that CI1122 is the fifth dedicated AI chip launched by Qi Ying Tailun for end-side intelligent voice applications, and since its release in November 2020, the mass output has reached the order of one million. CI1122 is based on the intelligent voice dedicated BNPU independently developed by Qiying Tailun, which can complete the high-computing power intelligent voice neural network operation on the end side at a very low cost and power consumption, so as to quickly empower the intelligent upgrading of the voice of home appliances and devices without relying on network cloud processing.
Zhang Lai said that in the interactive context of product settings, CI1122 recognition accuracy is no less than cloud recognition, and the interaction response is better in real time (response within 0.2 seconds), and can effectively cope with noise interference in various home appliance use environments.
CI1122 built-in core technology RISC-V high-performance processor core, built-in high-performance low-power Audio Codec module. At the same time, the chip also integrates multiple UART, IIC, I2S, PWM, GPIO and other peripheral control interfaces, which can develop low-cost and high-performance single-chip intelligent voice offline recognition schemes. It is worth mentioning that the volume and price of its solution modules are close to the level of conventional IoT modules.
