The Mercedes-Benz EQS is the first model created by the new EVA platform, and as the flagship model of the Mercedes-Benz EQ family, it is positioned as a luxury large-scale pure electric sedan.
In terms of appearance, Mercedes-Benz EQS integrates the latest design elements of the EQ family, and the new car adopts a family-style "Dark Night Star Emblem" closed grille, and can optionally install a three-dimensional star emblem pattern "Dark Night Star Array" closed grille. Highly technical smart digital headlights on both sides provide outstanding illumination with up to 1.3 million micro-lenses with a resolution of up to 2.6 million pixels. The middle is connected by a through-led strip of LIGHTS, and the three light spots are in line with the new S-Class.
On the side of the body, Mercedes-Benz EQS adopts a streamlined body with an arc to the end, thanks to the excellent design, the new EQS achieves excellent aerodynamic performance, with a windward area of only 0.5 per square meter and a wind resistance coefficient of only 0.20Cd. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 5216*1926*1512mm, and a wheelbase of 3210mm. The tail end adopts the popular through-type taillight design, and the tail light interior adopts a 3D spiral light set.
In the interior part, the Mercedes-Benz EQS is equipped with a hyperscreen ultra-screen with a size of 1.41 meters, using curved screen OLED technology, and the three screens completely replace the physical buttons, which is full of technology. In addition, the MBUX Hyperscreen system has 8 core CPU, 24GB of memory, 46.6GB/s bandwidth of hardware, and common functions can be operated without scrolling and turning pages, which is very convenient.
The EQS will have both EQS 450+ and EQS 580 4MATIC, with a single-motor rear-drive structure with a maximum power of 245 kW (333 hp) and a maximum torque of 568 Nm, while the EQS 580 4MATIC+ model will be driven with dual front and rear motors, a maximum power of 385 kW (524 hp), a maximum torque of 855 Nm, and equipped with rear wheel steering. The Mercedes-Benz EQS has a battery capacity of 1118kWh. In terms of battery life, according to the ministry of industry and information technology, EQS 450+ has two endurance versions with a mileage of 813km and 849km, respectively, and EQS 580 4MATIC+ has a cruising range of 720km.
