Promote the construction of urban and rural preschool education and compulsory education schools
Maoming City No. 2 Kindergarten Comprehensive Building delivered and used, the new East Bay Kindergarten 4 classes delivered and used, recycling Country Garden Park No. 1 supporting kindergarten, Maoming City No. 3 Kindergarten has started construction.
As of the end of November, there were 334,700 children in Maoming City, 52.83% of children in public kindergartens, and 90.62% of children in inclusive kindergartens, reaching the requirements of the "5080" project. Binhai Middle School affiliated to South China Normal University has officially opened, Buildings 1 and 2 of the comprehensive building of Maonan First Experimental School have completed the 3-story main structure, and Fudi Primary School has started construction. Maoming City has built or rebuilt 101 rural compulsory education boarding primary and secondary schools, so that each township has 1 primary school in the standardized boarding system center and 1 boarding system junior high school.

As of the end of November, 85,980 pregnant women have been screened for thalassemia with a completion rate of 144.96%, 56,280 pregnant women have been screened for Down syndrome with a completion rate of 94.88%, and 56,060 pregnant women have been screened for severe fatal and disabling structural deformities with a completion rate of 94.51%.
As of the end of November, 72,140 newborns were screened for genetic metabolic diseases (4 types) with a completion rate of 97.30%, and 72,080 newborns were screened for hearing, with a screening rate of 97.21%.
Raise the level of livelihood security for the masses in need
The minimum living standards for urban and rural minimum security recipients have been raised from 772 yuan and 532 yuan per person per month to 800 yuan and 55 yuan respectively; the basic living support standards for urban and rural special hardship cases are 15627 yuan and 1132 yuan per capita per year, respectively, which is 1.6 times higher than the minimum living security standard.
The minimum standard of centralized support and decentralized support for the basic living standards of orphans has been raised from 1820 yuan and 1110 yuan per person per month to 1883 yuan and 1227 yuan respectively; the living subsidy for the disabled in difficulty and the nursing subsidy for the severely disabled have been raised to 181 yuan and 243 yuan respectively.

In terms of food work, as of the end of November, Maoming City has completed 32,700 batches of food inspection, with a task completion rate of 102.2%, unqualified 930 batches, and a non-conformity discovery rate of 2.84%, all of which have been disposed of according to law; a total of 256,900 batches of edible agricultural products have been carried out in the farmers' market, with a task completion rate of 97.76%, and 4,025 batches of unqualified edible agricultural products have been screened, and the disposal rate of unqualified problem products is 100%.
In terms of pharmaceutical work, there are a total of 591 pharmaceutical trading enterprises in Maoming City with biological products business scope, and 591 have been inspected, with a coverage rate of 100%; 6 disease prevention and control institutions and 174 vaccination points have been inspected, and 180 have been inspected, with a coverage rate of 100%.
In 2021, the province issued 693 batches of drug sampling tasks, Maoming has been fully completed; 680 batches of inspection, the completion rate of 98.12%, 3 batches of unqualified, have been disposed of according to law.
