In order to meet the development needs of the new era and the new situation, the idea of "people-centered" is deeply rooted in the words and lines of the newspaper, and further reflects the people's livelihood feelings and shows the characteristics of the city, Shaoyang City Daily plans to carry out a new round of revision from February 2022. At the time of launch, the first thing we wanted to hear was the voice of the reader. To this end, we specially solicit opinions on revision from the majority of readers and friends, and solemnly solicit masthead works from the public.

1. Requirements for masthead works

1. Collect the calligraphy works of 5 Chinese characters of "Shaoyang City Daily", the masthead font is not limited, avoid traditional characters, but must be handwritten, horizontal writing style, requiring stretching generous, easy to read, novel conception, reflecting the structural beauty of Chinese characters, calligraphy beauty and cultural taste, reflecting the sense of the times and artistry, can give people a refreshing feeling, can be generally recognized by the society, suitable for newspaper mastheads.

2. At the same time, we also welcome the graphic works of the overall design of the masthead, which require bright, eye-catching, fashionable and personalized.

2. Submission requirements

Works can be sent by mail or scanned upon request to a designated email address.

1. Regular letter submission. Before February 19, send it to the editor-in-chief office of Shaoyang City Newspaper, Baoqing West Road Radio and Television Center, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, and please indicate the words "Masthead Solicitation" on the envelope;

2. Electronic submission. Please send the work in TIF format or JPG format to the mailbox before February 19: [email protected], and the subject of the email should indicate the words "Masthead Solicitation".

3. Please indicate your name, contact address and telephone number.

3. Remuneration for enlisted works

1. The masthead works will organize experts to conduct selection, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 3 third prizes, and will be rewarded with 2,000 yuan, 1,000 yuan and 500 yuan respectively.

2. Those who are adopted by the revision proposal will give away the "Shaoyang City Daily" for one year free of charge, and those who have a major political impact and social benefits will be hired as honorary consultants of the newspaper and will be given a reward of 500 yuan respectively.

4. Deadline, announcement of selection results and others

1. The call for papers starts from the same day and ends on February 19, 2022, and the selection results will be announced in Shaoyang City Daily, Shaoyang City Daily WeChat public account, Shaoyang Media Network and Love Shaoyang APP.

2. Once the masthead is adopted, its ownership, modification and use rights belong to Shaoyang City Newspaper, and the designer shall not use it anywhere else.

3. All entries will not be refunded, and those who are not selected can handle it themselves after the selection results are announced.

4. All infringements involving plagiarism, borrowing, etc., the contributor shall bear all the consequences.

5. This newspaper will successively publish the shortlisted works, and invite the majority of readers to vote for selection, and please pay attention to the relevant follow-up reports for specific methods.
