The Surging News has learned that the New Year's Eve exhibition "Song Yun - The Spiritual World of Scholars" jointly created by the Zhejiang Provincial Museum and the Nanjing Museum will open tomorrow (December 18) at the Nanjing Museum. The exhibition displays about 300 fine cultural relics of the Song Dynasty collected by 38 archaeological institutions, highlights the new archaeological discoveries of the Song Dynasty in Zhejiang, including a large number of cultural relics excavated from the tombs of zhejiang Song Dynasty scholars, tells the story of the Song Dynasty scholars' worldly path and literary and artistic life, and shows the spiritual world of the scholars.

The exhibition exhibits a large number of cultural relics excavated from the tombs of Wenshi in Cangnan County, Zhejiang, Dong Kangsi in Zhuji City, Shi Shengzu Tomb in Quzhou City, etc., reflecting the bronze cellars of Hangzhou Wulinmen that reflect the retro style of the Song Dynasty, the bronze cellars of Rulin Village in Morong Township, Huzhou City, the porcelain excavated from the ruins of Fanshiqiao in Huzhou, which is elegant and exquisite in the southern part of the Southern Song Dynasty, as well as the blue glazed hexagonal zhanjing basin of Longquan kiln excavated from the ruins of Deshou Palace in Hangzhou in 2019, and the black glazed cups excavated from the Song Tomb in Yangjiabu, Huzhou City in 2020.

The Song Dynasty advocated wenzhi and was the golden age of scholars. The scholars of the Song Dynasty served as both political and cultural subjects, and were both officials and scholars. The exhibition begins with "Raising Many Scholars", "Carving printing Xingxue", and "Learning Youdenshi" to tell the story of the cultivation of scholars: The developed official and private education institutions in the Song Dynasty cultivated a large number of Confucian groups and laid the foundation for "ruling the country with culture"; the development of engraving and printing technology promoted the popularization of culture and the dissemination of ideas, and also provided the basic conditions for the students of the remote mountains and villages to promote to the rank of scholars and doctors through reading; confucian scholars who were full of poetry and books entered the ranks of civil servants through the imperial examination and became scholars.

The exhibition is divided into two parts, the first part is "Wenzhi Tianxia" to tell the Song Dynasty scholars' way of ruling the world, and the second part is "Shilin Style" to show the literary and artistic life of the Song Dynasty scholars.

Rule the world

The first part, "Wenzhi Tianxia", from "Inspiring Elite Political Affairs", "Sven Zaizi", and "Lile Chonggu", respectively, tells the three aspects of the Song Dynasty's shifu's rule of the world: undertaking administrative affairs in the role of an official, writing books and teachings in the role of scholars, educating the world with lile civilization as the inheritor of Confucian culture, and rebuilding the ideal social order with reverence for ancient times.

"Inspiring Government Affairs"

In the section of "Inspiring Fine Government Affairs", a special exhibition area for Xu Yuli's documents was set up. Xu Zhili is a paper official document buried in the tomb, and the owner of the tomb, Xu Zhili, is the son of Xu Bangxian, a famous minister of the Southern Song Dynasty. Xu's documents include "Recording White Confessions", "Recording White Edicts" and "Recording White Printing Paper", which not only completely record the resume of an ordinary civil servant of the Southern Song Dynasty from low to intermediate level, but also specifically show the political features of the clerical system, official management, and government affairs operation in the middle and late Period of the Southern Song Dynasty, just like an encyclopedia of the official system of the Southern Song Dynasty. The National Treasure Documents will be displayed in two phases: the first will exhibit the first volume of Xu Shuli's Confessional Body and the first six volumes of the Recording White Printing Paper, and the second phase will exhibit the second volume of the Confessional Body, the Second Volume of the Recorded Confessional Body, the Recorded White Yellow and the Last Six Volumes of the White Printing Paper from January 25, 2022.

"Sven in Z"

The "Sven in the Present" section focuses on the ink treasures and research works of the theorist Zhu Xi- the volume of Zhu Xi and a Certain Waiter's Book, and the Song Carved Yuanming Edition of the Collected Writings of Mr. Zhu Wen.

"Regal Reverence"

The "Lile Chonggu" part not only uses the animal face pattern bronze statue, the Da Sheng Yi Ze bronze bell and other court ceremonial instruments to show the scholars to promote the participation of the Song Dynasty in the production of ceremonial music, but also from the four aspects of antique bronze, antique porcelain, antique jade, antique gold and silverware and other four aspects to show the retro style of the Song Dynasty scholars, they in the Ancient Study of Ancient Tibetans to explore the "institutional law" and "sage essence", in the antique retro eager to reproduce three generations.

Shilin elegance

The next part is "Shilin Fengya" with "four scholars in the literary room are independent of each other", "cushion towel demeanor people compete to see", "the taste of the world is Qinghuan", "a new song of wine and a cup", "a cup of fine milk drama in the clear window", "to ward off evil furnaces to warm up the smoke", "a small bottle of spring color and a branch oblique", "The Immortal Buddha will He Zuo Jiazheng" Eight poems of Su Shi, Yan Shu, Lu You and other Song Dynasty scholars and doctors string together eight chapters of the spiritual life of the scholars.

In the Song Dynasty, the scholars and doctors reflected the elegant and elegant aesthetic taste in the daily interesting things such as reading and learning, chanting and painting, entering and leaving the Buddhist way, drinking, cooking tea, burning incense, and enjoying flowers. The exhibition closes with the portrait scrolls of Fan Zhongyan in the Ming Dynasty and the works admired by later generations such as Wen Tianxiang Chunlei Qin Tuoben of the Qing Dynasty. Fan Zhongyan is the leader of the Shilin who worries first and then enjoys it, and Wen Tianxiang is a model of a noble and upright scholar, who has set a benchmark for the personality of the Chinese nation and led social progress.

New archaeological discoveries in the Song Dynasty in Zhejiang

Many of the exhibits were on public display for the first time after the rejuvenation of the miraculous hands of cultural relics restoration workers. The tomb of Zhao Bopeng of the Southern Song Dynasty in Huangyan District, Taizhou City, excavated a round-necked Suluo large-sleeved shirt, made of light and transparent Suluo, is the only surviving Song Dynasty official dress, after eight hundred years, the color has faded, and the brilliance is still the same. The silver boxes with tangled branches and floral patterns excavated from Shu Cemetery in Jinhua City and the swastika-shaped smoking copper smoker are the first to be displayed after cleaning and restoration.
