Volkswagen has also improved the configuration of infotainment, adding a new, more powerful chip to the CPU. The chip can run faster by 25 percent, and the display core responds three times faster.

According to Volkswagen, the new system will first be installed on the new Golf that will be shipped out of the factory, and from the beginning of 2022, some functional upgrades will also be pushed through OTAs to Golf models that meet the upgrade conditions.
