Volkswagen said that the new car-machine system can achieve a speech recognition rate of nearly 95% and can even have continuous dialogue with drivers and passengers.

Volkswagen has added a sensor to the central control screen of the new car, which can lock part of the control button according to the driving state to prevent the owner from accidentally activating certain functions due to accidental touch when controlling the screen, thus affecting driving safety. Volkswagen has also improved the configuration of infotainment, adding a new, more powerful chip to the CPU. The chip can run faster by 25 percent, and the display core responds three times faster.
According to Volkswagen, the new system will first be installed on the new Golf that will be shipped out of the factory, and from the beginning of 2022, some functional upgrades will also be pushed through OTAs to Golf models that meet the upgrade conditions.
