The statement said the company strongly opposed the U.S. Treasury Department's move, and the decision and related allegations were unfounded. The U.S. government added Megvii to its Entity List in 2019 with the same allegations, and Megvii said the company complies with all laws and regulations in the regions where the services are provided. The inclusion in the list will not have an impact on the daily operation of Megvii Technology.

We strongly oppose the U.S. Treasury Department's inclusion of Megvii in the list of "China Military-Industrial Complex Enterprises (NS-CMIC)". This decision and the related allegations are unfounded.
The U.S. government added Megvii to its Entity List in 2019 with the same allegations. We reaffirm that Megvii has always adhered to the mission of "using artificial intelligence for the benefit of all" to ensure that our technology has a positive impact on society and complies with all laws and regulations in the regions where the services are provided. This inclusion in the list will not have an impact on Megvii's daily operations. We will continue to drive the advancement of artificial intelligence technology to create maximum value for customers and society.
