SenseTime
On December 7, SenseTime announced its IPO prospectus to offer 1.5 billion B shares globally, including 150 million shares in Hong Kong, with the original plan of December 10 as the pricing date. However, the U.S. Treasury Department chose the day of the 10th to include SenseTime in the so-called "List of Non-SDN Chinese Military Complex Enterprises". In desperation, SenseTime had to urgently add an announcement to delay the listing and return the share money.
(1) Start: Moving object recognition system
In 2017, SenseTime, which has a multi-faceted layout and multi-faceted research and development of artificial intelligence such as face recognition and AR, for the first time turned its attention to the field of transportation, and signed a cooperation agreement with auto giant Honda to develop a "mobile object recognition system" for it. 2. Make use of their respective industrial advantages, based on machine vision and artificial intelligence, promote the construction of intelligent logistics systems such as smart infield operation monitoring, smart docks, smart field management systems, and unmanned sorting equipment.
Follow-up: The US side has made waves again
On the evening of December 16, the eve of this publication, palm chain learned that the US Department of Commerce, following the example of its Treasury Department, had added 34 Chinese entities to the "entity list" of export controls.
