Elken Group and its partners jointly launched the sub-forum of "Digital Connected Health" - Guarding Family Health and Paying Attention to Cancer Prevention and Early Screening, and released the "2021 Edition of the Beijing Million Urban Population Health Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report").
The report is guided by the China Center for Health Economics research at Peking University, which aims to effectively serve China's health management industry based on the in-depth analysis of health big data, and remind the public to pay attention to their own health and disease prevention. The founder, chairman and CEO of iKang Group said: "Starting this year, iKang Group will release health reports in cities, hoping to arouse more people's attention to health through the release of city reports, pay attention to cancer prevention and early screening, and do a physical examination every year." ”
According to the statistics of the 2020 iKang Group's urban population cancer follow-up, 557 people were diagnosed with cancer in the Beijing urban population (1 person tracked lung cancer and colorectal cancer at the same time), of which thyroid cancer was the largest number of confirmed cases (182 people), followed by lung cancer, cervical cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, prostate cancer and kidney cancer.
Thyroid ultrasound is an important means to find thyroid cancer, in 2020, the participation rate of thyroid ultrasound in the urban population of Beijing was 68.20%, and the high participation rate of thyroid ultrasound is an important reason for the largest number of thyroid cancer findings.
According to the data of the "Report", the detection rate of thyroid nodule abnormalities in the urban population of Beijing has exceeded 30% for five consecutive years, and it has shown an upward trend. Among them, the 2020 data shows that the detection rate of thyroid nodules in the female population is as high as 48.15%, which is much higher than that of men.
The "Report" pointed out that in the health data of more than one million urban people living in Beijing, nearly 7 adults have cervical spine abnormalities, and the detection rate of cervical spine abnormalities for 5 consecutive years has exceeded 60%. In addition, the report also found that the detection rate of cervical spine abnormalities in people of all ages in Beijing was higher than the national level.
At the same time, iKang Group and Eagle Pupil Airdoc released the "2021 Edition of Beijing Million Urban Population Health Report - Artificial Intelligence Fundus Health Assessment Special Report" for the first time in a city-based unit, showing that from July 2018 to June 2021, in the risk assessment results of artificial intelligence fundus photographic diseases of more than 400,000 people in Beijing, the detection rate of fundus abnormalities exceeded 70%. Therefore, it is recommended that people aged 40 and over should pay more attention to fundus health and conduct regular fundus examinations.
In the APOE4 gene test results related to the risk of Alzheimer's disease, compared with the seven cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Nanjing, Changchun and Chengdu, it was found that the risk of the urban population in Beijing was lower than that in Shanghai, Chengdu, Changchun and Nanjing, while the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases associated with the mutation of the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase gene was higher than that in Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai, Nanjing and other cities, and the mutation rate in the northern region was three times that of the southern region, which needed to be paid attention to.
It is understood that the "2021 Edition of Beijing Million Urban Population Health Report" is an important part of iKang Group's "2021 Edition of Urban Population Health Report" series.
